So, Reiki on a pillar surrounded by water was a bad thing, huh? Reiki smirked. It looked like her friend was starting to understand that. Reiki was known for her medical techniques, but her skills in elemental jutsu were nothing to be trifled with. Her lightning abilities were lacking a bit, but with her water element, she was more than just a difficult opponent. And the fact that she was now surrounded by water made her about ten times more dangerous, because performing her jutsu would be that much easier now that water was naturally supplied. Nii would certainly be in a pinch at this point.
Reiki chuckled as the clone decided to tell her that it would not tell Nii to come out to play. It was obviously an empty remark, for its experience would travel back to Nii anyways. And besides, Reiki wasn't afraid of her friend playing another one of her cat resembling games. Right now Nii would be in a tight spot. She was cornered, and she probably knew it. That was when Reiki had the most fun- when Nii was cornered. After all, Nii could get a bit cocky, though Reiki had no room to think that. However, the red-haired kunoichi was still always happy to prove Nii of her own worth, especially if the jinchuuriki woman was acting cocky.
Reiki chose not to respond to the clone, instead letting it be destroyed by her water technique, which it seemed to be ready for. In no time, it vanished, and the pool of water was sending rings of vibrations from the uproar all around. Reiki smiled knowingly. The vibrations- if she summoned clones, they wouldn't be too adept at sensing the vibrations, but they would sense them either way. Even if a reaction was a little late on their part, it was definitely better than nothing. And not to mention that Reiki's extensive amount of chakra would prove to be useful in this situation; giving the clones a little more solidity as far as chakra goes would be no problem at all.
In fact, chakra never was a problem for Reiki. Long ago, the village's medics predicted that she would have an amount of chakra that could rival that of a Jinchuuriki's. Of course, they were a bit off- Reiki was definitely not capable of anything that a Jinchuuriki was capable of, but she was very close. In fact, for this reason only she had been chosen to keep an eye on Nii. Who better to keep watch over a Jinchuuriki than someone who had the chakra that rivaled one? Reiki would not only be adept at sealing the tailed beasts, but she would be more than capable of putting up a fight if her seals happened to be overwhelmed. For that reason and that reason only, she was chosen for the task of watching over Nii. The friendship was only a convenient and wonderful occurrence.
But was she doing a good job? At the moment, Nii was probably very tired. After all, Reiki did just pull her straight out of a training match and into a spar. It wouldn't be long before she tried to borrow the Nibi's chakra. She had already used two high level jutsu after all, so she had to be pretty tired from that. And the shadow clones probably didn't help very much either. Was it really smart of Reiki to keep this fight going? Reiki pondered this for a moment, bringing a pale hand to tap against her chin. She would definitely be in trouble if Nii lost control, but Nii hadn't lost control in a long time. And she may be obsessed with winning, but not obsessed enough to put Reiki in danger. With a slight sigh, Reiki ran a hand through her ponytail. Should she keep going? A slight pause.
'Sure. Why not?' Reiki thought cleverly, completely ignoring all the warning signs she had just laid out. She had faith in her friend. And besides, she would probably be viewed as a coward if she gave this one up. And Reiki wouldn't be able to handle that. So, after clapping her two hands together, Reiki performed a jutsu as three water clones formed from the water. They were spread in a triangle, each thirty feet away from her and twenty feet away from the shore. That would give Reiki enough time to speed in and attack if the water was disturbed near one of the clones. This entire formation was made primarily so that Reiki would be able to sense what was going on around her through not only her eyes and the eyes of her clones, but the water. If Nii tried anything tricky, than the clones would pick it up right away.
But at the moment... nothing was happening. The clones scanned the perimeter, as did Reiki. Nii had to know she was there. She had a clone come out and talk to her, so there was no doubt another clone had viewed its failure and reported back to Nii. She had probably even seen the water clones. So what was taking her so long? Reiki scowled. Nii wasn't the type of person to stalk around too much before attacking. She usually just crept and pounced. That was just about it. But at this point, she seemed to be taking her dandy little time while Reiki was wasting chakra out on the water. 'Tch. I've gotta draw her out if I don't want to lose too much chakra' she thought to herself, clearing her throat. "Here, kitty kitty kitty. Don't be afraid. Reiki's gonna give you a nice warm bath!" she shouted, a smirk finding its way onto her face. Taunting Nii really was enjoyable sometimes, even though Reiki was well aware that the banter would normally get her nowhere.
Now was time for an update. Reiki signaled to one of her clones as it quickly surveyed the area around it. Forest. Nothing but forest to Reiki's left, which was slightly daunting. Nii had every chance in the world to simply send shadow clones to Reiki's flanks, but at least they were somewhat guarded. The only problem would be figuring out which place to defend- Nii's goal was most likely to crush the pillar Reiki was standing on, and Reiki would have to guard it for dear life. Not that it was too much of a problem, but she didn't want to waste her chakra by simply using it to glide along the water. She turned to the clone to her right and signaled to it. It signaled back. No sign of Nii, as expected. This was starting to feel a little strange. Where was she?
Reiki immediately signaled to the clone directly in front of her. Though it might be a reckless thing to do, she wouldn't be surprised if Nii would just burst out of the forest there. Was it likely..? At this point, Reiki had her doubts. Had Nii just been playing one of her normal little games, she would have rushed out of the woods at this point and mocked Reiki. But no. She wasn't making an appearance, and perhaps that was because she wanted to lure Reiki away from the water. As if. Reiki knew how Nii thought, and she would surely take the pond as a challenge- so what was up? The forward clone signaled back. No sign of Nii. Reiki grunted. How annoying.
Just then, however, Reiki sensed something. A chakra coming over her. What was this, a Gen- no time! Reiki swiveled her head to her left as her eyes grew wide. She saw nothing in front of the clone, but the clone was signaling to her and prepping for battle. Her eyes darted down to the rings of water that began to speed towards her. 'Shit!' she thought, as the clone began to do hand signs. "Water Encampment Wall!" it shouted, in desperation more than anything. Just in time, it seemed. The wall lifted from the pond and flew up strong as a heat wave seemed to pound against it and it began to boil. Reiki smirked. "No fire jutsu here, kitty!" she shouted.
"Now let's follow it up!" she said, beginning to do hand signs herself as the clone stood ready with what little chakra it had left. "Giant Vortex Jutsu!" she yelled, smiling almost insanely as a huge blast of water shot out towards the wall. The wall fell just as it did, and the clone jumped forward in an attempt to grab onto Nii if she was there. The point of it was to get a grip on Nii so that she would sit still as the giant blast of water would hit her directly. If she did get directly hit, there was surely no way she'd simply get up. At least Reiki hoped. She herself was panting as large waves of water began to run through the pond. But nevertheless, her barrage did not end there.
"Hold your breath, kitty cat!" Reiki yelled maliciously. She was getting very competitive at the moment. With a few simple hand gestures, Reiki opened her mouth wide as a translucent gas shout out of it in a giant cloud, turning into a dark purple cloud of poison as it came into contact with the outside air. Reiki grinned, still panting. The water from her previous attack was about to subside, and the poison fog would follow it up. But before it hit, she might as well make sure there was absolutely no escape.
"Earth Flash!" she shouted, a wave of electricity running down her arms. She immediately slammed them down onto the water as an enormous volt of electricity began to surge through the lake. She put a lot of chakra into this jutsu, and as a result, the two water clones remaining disappeared immediately as sparks of electricity were amplified by the water and traveled around at lightning speed, shocking anything within. Normally Reiki would have never resorted to such attacks, but she knew that Nii would simply escape the first if her attacks weren't used in quick succession.
And quick it was. It had only been about fifteen seconds, and Reiki had released three very powerful jutsu. If the clone had latched onto her, Nii would surely be exhausted. If it hadn't- she would probably still be hit anyways. But knowing Nii, that most likely wouldn't happen. The girl had a way of being extremely elusive- like a cat, in many ways. She was probably ready with some sort of other jutsu. Reiki looked up as the poison fog hovered directly over where the water wave had crashed down. The electricity had now stopped, and Reiki felt a small trickle of blood run down the side of her mouth.
'I've exhausted my chakra..' she thought, suddenly gasping as she fell to her knees on the pillar. In any normal situation, a ninja would most likely have taken this time to retreat. But not Reiki. She covered her mouth with her left hand, and her right hand was held up as a pill rolled into it from her sleeve. A Soldier Pill. Just what she needed at this point. She was up against a Jinchuuriki after all, even if it wasn't a real fight. And besides, she was well aware that she could simply exhaust herself, because Nii would just pick her up and take her home if anything too bad happened. She hastily swallowed the pill and smirked, wiping some blood from her mouth. Nii would be coming soon, and Reiki would be ready. Ready to either win, or to be extremely exhausted. Which she was completely fine with.
Unfortunately, Reiki forgot to consider the possibility of the Nibi showing itself. [/size][/font] Jutsu used (In order)- Water Clone [Mizu Bunshin no Jutsu] : This creates a clone of the user out of water. These clones can carry out tasks that the user commands, and can also attack. However, they revert back to water when injured enough.
- Water Encampment Wall [Suijinheki] : This jutsu allows the user to summon a wall of water to protect them. This jutsu is adept at blocking fire release attacks.
- Giant Vortex Jutsu [Daibakufu no Jutsu] : This jutsu forms a strong column of water to attack a target. With the strong force of the water, the target will be fully enveloped by the current and pulled away.
- Poison Fog [Dokugiri] : This jutsu kneads chakra within the body into a special chemical substance that is ejected from the mouth, and when this substance comes into contact with the air outside of the body, it instantly changes into a mist of deadly poison. This jutsu requires advanced ability in chakra control and medical ninjutsu.
- Lightning Release: Earth Flash [Raiton: Jibashi]: This jutsu allows the user to create a wave of electricity with their hands. This electricity can then surge and shoot at an opponent, and the damage depends on how much chakra is put into it. It is often used in collaboration with water style jutsu.

Nii glared slightly towards the pillar when Reiki said that she wanted to give her a bath. She never went swimming because she didn’t care for the water and her friend knew this. She hated the fact that Reiki’s main chakra alignement was indeed water, but there was nothing that she would be able to do about that now. She would just have to come up with a different plan in everything if Reiki insisted that what she was going to do. She would also have to repay her back for all this as well. ”I hate water….” [/i] When she started to relay on the chakra of the Nibi; Nii felt a little bit better in all this, but at the same time she knew it was only the side effects of the new chakra. She closed her eyes some and focus on what was at hand. She knew that she could not allow the Nibi to feel like it was in charge because she knew that was normally when she lost control and she would never hurt her friend like that. She knew what she would have to do if she lost control and everything, but for now she would pay attention to how much chakra she actually borrowed from the Nibi first and worry about the worse part latter. Relying on the Nibi’s chakra was something that she did not want to do, but saw no choice in the matter. She would not just hand herself over to Reiki to be tested on like a test subject. She had enough of that while she was younger and her father kept taking her into seeing the medic ninjas of the village. Her mother disapproved of this, but there was nothing to stop him from doing it. Reiki knew this and this was way she asked first for Nii to be a test subject and Nii had no problem with her earning the chance to test her new jutsu on her if she could catch Nii that was. When Nii performed her jutsu and went in for an attack she noticed something odd, Reiki was reacting to the area that seemed normal and the one that she just placed a genjutsu on. ”Shit! She must have done something to the water that can sense at close range to her clones….this cannot be good.” She knew Reiki all too well when it came to fighting. She had spent many hours throughout their lives telling the girl to stop and take a nap and all that resulted in was the girl training harder and Nii having to carry her back to the village and Reiki could be heavy when she was dead weight. ”She better not be wasting too much chakra with all this! I will kill her if I have to carry her back from this distance…..””Why don’t you just kill her now and be done with it Nii, she is useless to both of us and only hinders us…”Nii was force to close her eyes slightly when the Nibi started to talk to her again. She hated hearing the voice in her head and knew that it would always be lurking in her mind. She sighed slightly and opened them just in time to see the giant water wall. She knew that Reiki was preparing for another attack otherwise she would not allow her friend to get it in. Then it dawned on her that Reiki might be setting up for a Lightening attack. She was not sure if it was the one that her friend wanted to use on her or not, but she was not about to get hit by it yet. Nii heard something coming at a fast pace to her and the wall coming down. She blinked when she felt something brush up against her arm and she pulled it away just as face and bent backwards has she felt a surge of water coming in front of her. She was taken underwater by the move, but she was glad she pulled away from whatever that brushed up against her arm. She knew that she would have to get out of the water face it Reiki was following this move up with something else. It would be bad for her to be caught by a lightening jutsu now. Nii opened her eyes slightly because she knew that she was going to have to do something fast and she needed to get out of the water in order to breath. She saw the pillar and used the Nibi’s chakra kick the water fast so she can get to the pillar. She came up for a breath just in time to see Reiki use the Lightening jutsu and scrambled up onto the pillar’s side just in time. Her left foot, however, got a taste of the electricity hitting the water. She winced in pain and sat there for now. She took in a deep breath and looked around and saw two out of her three clones were now gone. So that just left Reiki and the other one if it was still alive from that attack. She jumped up onto the pillar and saw Reiki on her knees from behind. She smirked some since she saw blood on the corner of her mouth. She could take her out eaiserly now, but she saw no game in that. She looked around some and grinned. ”Lets get rid of this water of yours!” She flipped down onto the water and within seconds she transformed into the Nibi. She had control of the blue beast for now. The beast ran on the water boiling it up. Nii made the chakra around the beast bigger and hotter to make it boil faster. The Nibi form left blue chakra flames all over the water. The Nibi after about a minute and a half came to a stop about twenty-five feet in front of the pillar facing Reiki. ”You should let me get her now Nii, I can finish her off now. Let me please!!! I can easily take control now if you just let go a bit further.” The Nibi started to build up for its famous fireball it did while in the form. ”DAMN! It you God forsaken Cat! I let you transformed and you want to kill my best friend! NOO!”Without any other warning the blue flames around the Nibi disappeared and Nii collapsed on to the remaining of the water that was still in the canyon. She was panting and on her knees now. She did not have the control she wanted over the monster inside of her. Her hands were down in front of her and she closed her eyes. She was not sure what her friend was going to do. She had yet talked to her about the fact that the Nibi was getting a bit more demanding. She wanted to keep thinking that she was in control, but she knew now that she would need to seek on Killer Bee again for help. There was no mistaken what went over her just now. She was not filled with the rage of the Nibi, but she was able to keep control over it for now. She would not be using anymore jutsu and this would be Reiki’s time to do what she wanted. Nii’s long hair fell down off her right should and laid on the water has Nii kept her eyes closed. She tried to focus on what she heard in front of her, but she was still concerned about her friend. She had willing transformed into the beast, but at the same time nearly attacked Reiki. ”I will never agree to a fight against Reiki when I know I will have to draw your damn chakra again! Nibi!”[/size][/blockquote] []Not has long has yours, but hehehe little connection between Nii and Nibi going on ^.^[]

Immediately after Reiki popped the soldier pill into her mouth, she began to feel better. After all, the soldier pill was supposed to keep a person fighting non stop for three days and three nights. However, the drastic change in energy levels began to create a pounding in her head. Though she always had such pills ready, she rarely used them, and her body wasn't quite ready for the change from no chakra to boosted chakra. At the moment, she was still on her knees, her hands touching the floor as she panted. Blood was on her hand from wiping her mouth, and her throat burned slightly for dry swallowing the pill. The situation looked bleak.
But there was no way that Nii could have survived that volley of attacks. It was perfectly planned out! First, a clone to sense when Nii was coming and from which direction. Than a water wall to defend the clone, for Reiki was well aware that she would try and attack with fire initially before moving to her wind techniques. Shortly after that, Reiki then proceeded to attack with a volley of moves ranking from C-A. The giant water blast first, and the clone to grab ahold of Nii so that she couldn't move. Then the poison fog to not only cloud her vision, but perhaps to slow her down as well. And then, to top it all off, Reiki used the remaining large portion of her chakra to electrocute the water fully.
It was exhausting, but thankfully Reiki was a skilled medic and somewhat knew her limits. Not to mention the soldier pill was helpful. All in all, she would be ready to fight again and Nii most likely wouldn't be if she had been caught up in all of that. But could Reiki really underestimate Nii like that? After all, the woman was a Jonin like herself. And they both were on the verge of being Kage-level Jonin, Nii especially with the Nibi. It would be unfair to underestimate her, but Reiki had chosen great variety in her moves. Water, poison, and then lightning. Could Nii really keep up?
Apparently. Reiki felt her heart thump in her chest as she heard Nii behind her. She was on the pillar? When..? Then Reiki recognized it. She had no memory of her water clone jumping in and grabbing ahold of Nii, only it being able to skim past her. The memory transfer from clone to original was supposed to be immediate and clear, but Reiki had been to busy releasing her volley of jutsu to even notice anything different about the situation. So this is what it had come to, eh? Reiki turned immediately to stand up, but only found herself clutching her stomach and falling back onto her knees. However, now at least she could see Nii, who seemed to be coming up with something, as she flipped onto the water. Was she going to destroy the pillar?
The following event caused Reiki to widen her eyes. She felt her heard suddenly thud against her chest and then stop for a brief moment. Her dark pupils grew relatively larger, and she felt her muscles cramp up. A normal reaction when seeing the Nibi right in front of you. A thousand thoughts ran through Reiki's mind at once, but the most prominent was 'What the hell is she thinking?!'. She was going to rely fully on the Nibi? In a mock battle? Yeah, sure, she may have control over the thing but that didn't mean she could just swing its power around like a sledge hammer! There were rules to follow, and precautions to take, and- Reiki stopped there. She was almost angry, but at the moment, a bit more frightened at the sight around her.
The water was boiling, and the large blue cat was running around on it at a rapid pace. Blue flames were all around, and Reiki forced herself to scoot closer to the center of the pillar in order to avoid them. She swiftly swiveled her head to find that the cloud of poison was clearing up effectively under the influence of the gigantic chakra flames, and the flames were only getting bigger. Reflexively, Reiki tried to reach into her sleeve to grab at her sealing scrolls, but the action around her was so breathtakingly surprising that she kept her eyes fixed on the flames.
However, it was then that the beast stopped directly in front of Reiki. Reiki looked up at it, forcing herself not to tremble in fear. The thing was big, and definitely a force to be reckoned with. Reiki could simply combat it with her scrolls, but it seemed that her homemade soldier pills seemed to be having some adverse effects. She was suddenly losing energy- thank God this was only a small fight and there was no way to be hurt, right? After all, Nii had full control of the beast!
Wrong. Reiki stared up at the beast as a fireball began to form. What was Nii thinking?! Reiki could get killed by that thing! Acting more in fear than in intelligence now, Reiki tried to stand but instead fell backwards onto her hands, the headband keeping her hair back falling to the floor. Her crimson hair now fell over her face as she stared, her eyes fright filled. If she didn't move now, that fireball would incinerate her. She had seen its strength, and at this point, even a water wall wouldn't be able to hold it back. And water walls were supposed to be known for their strength against fire techniques. But alas, the Nibi was just too powerful for something like that. Was this the end? Was Nii going to be so reckless as to shoot that fireball at her?
To Reiki's great relief, apparently not. The Nibi all at once disappeared, and Reiki saw her friend falling down into the empty canyon, the water long ago evaporated by the flames. But- why wasn't she prepping to land? Reiki gasped. "Nii!!" she shouted, her voice shrill and frightened. She forced herself to her feet, suddenly experiencing some sort of adrenaline rush. Her best friend was in trouble- and she had to save her as quickly as possible. But could she really at this point? She had before, she had been there before to hug Nii when the girl had awoke from exhausting training- she would be there for her again. Reiki swiftly flipped off of the large pillar and landed somewhat near her before running quickly and sliding into a crouching position next to her.
And all the while as she did this, something was bugging her at the back of her mind. Was this all her fault? Was she the reason that the Nibi had come out? She was the one who used all of those jutsu on Nii. She should have known better! Nii had just began resting after exhausting training, and Reiki stupidly barged in and challenged her to a spar. A deadly one at that. And even more, why had Nii almost used that fireball on her? Or... was that even Nii? Had the beast been in control of her then? No, no, that was impossible. Nii had been able to keep control of the Nibi for years, why would it falter now?
Either way, Nii ended up in bad condition on the floor. "Are you alright? Just relax and lie down.." Reiki said softly, but anxiously. She was trying to sound calm but was having trouble showing it. Following basic medical protocol, she quickly and gently rolled Nii onto her back. Now was the time to assess the situation. She had been irked before that Nii had used the Nibi, but at this moment, she merely had herself to blame. And she was not going to yell at Nii in her state. "Do you think you can stand up? Don't try too hard, just tell me.. please don't be stubborn, just tell me the truth." Reiki stated, her voice now shifting from frantic to calm. She was in medical doctor mode, and she couldn't be light with Nii. She knew the girl was headstrong and might say she could walk when she couldn't. [/blockquote][/font][/size]

Nii sat there on the water because she was unsure what to do at this point. She black eyes were focused on the water has she panted for some air to each her lungs. She knew exactly what the demon inside of her wanted to do, but at the same time she was able to regain control faster then she had before. She took a deep breath and closed her eyes slightly. She was slowly starting to become of her surrounding at the moment. She knew she was on the water, but she was not completely sure where Reiki was, not that she wanted to confront her friend at the moment.
The cat chuckled slightly. ”That was fun my friend, you should allow me to do that more often. Take control and nearly hurt your friend like that. You took back control rather fast Nii. What is the matter Nii? Don’t you want to be free of her always telling you this and that? She is no good and needed to be dealt with. I can do that for you with no problem!”
Nii made her hand into a fist as the Nibi spoke to her. She hated the damn thing more than ever at the moment. She could not believe that she was that stupid to allow it to take control over her and nearly use the fireball on Reiki who had done nothing. All Reiki wanted to do was to use a jutsu on her that no one else would help her with. She felt sick to her stomach to even think about hurting Reiki like that. ”Don’t speak as if you know her you demon cat! Do no ever think I am going to allow you to hurt people that I care about…”
Nii lost concretion when she heard Reiki come to her side. She could hear how worried her friend was and also how annoyed she was. How could she tell her exactly what happened was not completely her fault. She did, however, wanted to push away her friend and convince her that she was okay, but knew Reiki would not have her pushing her away at a time like this. She was not even sure what to say to her friend at this time.
When Reiki made her lay on her back, Nii closed her eyes and placed her arm over her face. She did not want to look at Reiki just yet. She wanted some more time to think and regain her chakra. She pushed the ordeal out of her mind for now and focused on what Reiki had to say. She knew she was only looking out for her like she was suppose to and make sure the Nibi did not get too out of hand for her. She didn’t know what she would do without Reiki beside her most of the time.
Nii decided to be stubborn for the most part. She was not about to tell Reiki what had just happened until she figured it out herself. ”Thought you wanted to test a jutsu on me, kid.” She called her a kid mainly because she wanted to give her the appearance that she was okay. Nii pushed herself up off her back and into a sitting position. She looked around and saw the dying blue flames of the Nibi. She turned her head in a slightly disgust with herself. ”Yea I can walk…don’t worry….I not that hopeless like you were…popping that solider pill in your mouth back there…” She was trying to draw attention away from her and focus on Reiki.
