[ the way the plot works ] -

the site-wide plot is divided into 'chapters.' chapters are written in rp-format similar to how a book might be. these chapters are symbolic of every step that the site-wide plot makes. at the bottom of every chapter is several paragraphs that summarize what it said and elaborate on a few details. if you don't want to read the actual chapter just skip to the bottom.

new era
The hero of the nations, Uzumaki Naruto, had come a long way since he became a genin. From the mission against Zabuza, to the chunin exams, to training, to the battles with Akatsuki, he slowly became the hero, but this escalated in three more times, greater then any other moments. First was the defeat of Pein, the pseudo-leader of Akatsuki, the man being used by Madara to enact revenge on Konoha. The battle changed Naruto, and caused a change of heart in Konan.

The second moment was his battle against Sasuke. This battle took all the might of both ex-friends and ex-teammates. Chidori and Rasengan met one last time in a battle of epic levels. Naruto won out, securing his place in Konoha's history for years to come, but this was only his 3rd greatest triumph. He had two more enemies in his way to his dream, and they would soon fall. But for that time being, Naruto rested while one man made his move.

Then came the third moment and the greatest enemy to Naruto, Uchiha Madara. The elder Uchiha and the Jinchuuriki battled long and hard, on a battlefield now a wasteland. Eternal Mangekyo and Kyuubi clashed, but neither Madara, nor the five Kages expected the sheer power Naruto threw into his ultimate technique, a perfected RasenShuriken, with the wind element. Madara's body was not prepared and was destroyed. Victory had been won, and the shadow over the nations faded.

A grand celebration was held to honor Naruto and those that sacrificed their lives. With peace in sight, things seemed well, until Danzo tried to arrest Naruto. The final enemy had made a mistake, and he paid for it, treason. Finally the War Hawk was laid to rest, forcefully. Now Konoha and the villages together vowed to rebuild and reform their ways, to be less warlike. Six years passed of peace, rebuilding, treaties, and more. On the 22nd birthday of the hero Uzumaki Naruto, he was named the Shichidaime Hokage, his dream came true, here within his home.

But that was not the only dream fulfilled. Following shortly after his ascension to Hokage, a scream of yes echoed those near, and news spread fast of the engagement of one Uzumaki Naruto and one Haruno Sakura. Konoha was abuzz, and on a grand day, the lovely couple were wed. This followed by more of their friends finding love, and spring quickly approached, a time of rebirth. Now, all was in motion for something far unexpected. But it would not make a move until the time was right. For now, something laid back, something sinister and with intentions not of the good hearted.

Murders, disappearances, and more rose as winter drew near. Things were getting hectic, and the Kages, all but the Kazekage and new Hokage Naruto, new to their field, were getting edgy at the blood being spilled. No one could figure out who was doing this. It was then, that the hits were hard. Complete lands were burned, torn into, and more. Few of the lesser nations stood against this mysterious foe. Now there remains ten villages, and this has brought up the Kages's watchful eyes, their hands pulling strings to get the information thats needed.

But a feeling of deja-vu is reaching those who witnessed Akatsuki. They question if they have been reborn, or if there is now a force far more terrfying then the Akatsuki, who hunted down the nine bijuu. Whoever they are, they have begun a new era of fear and bring the brink of war back, between villages, as the kages get edgier and paranoid.

This is the new age.

Welcome to Taifuu Rekidaishi, or Tsunami Chronicles. This is a intermediate Naruto Role-play site based on a future where Naruto is now Hokage, 22 years old, and has acheived most of his dreams. He and the other kages have kept the peace, until recently, when someone has been doing crimes, such as murder, kidnapping, and more. This has put the kages on edge, and some are getting paranoia, bringing a possible brink of war. It is up to a elite squad of shinobi to stop this group.
