Rain, rain, and you guessed it, more rain. The clouds in the sky are all of one shade, grey, and they seem to fuse together into one super cloud which continues to pour its unrelenting shower on the village. It wasn’t an unwelcomed shower however. As of late Konoha had been breaking records with the heat wave that had hit the village. The dry spell was broken for now at least, and the storm promised to last the rest of the day. Setting in a stall is Ishimaru. The Inuzuka and his dog have been assigned as guards at the front gate to the village.
The chuunin has a hood over his head in an attempt to protect himself from the rain the wind blows into the stall. Not that it helped much; he was already beginning to look like a drowned dog. Tatsuya is napping underneath the table upon which sign in sheets had once laid. The wind and rain has made it all but impossible for Ishimaru to get signatures that weren’t blotted or otherwise in a mess. “They had to assign me today of all days didn’t they?” Ishimaru says thinking allowed.
Tatsuya gives a yawn before rolling over. The water has already begun to penetrate the stall and drips down onto the boxer. Ishimaru gives a quick look toward the gate before looking down at the sheet in his hand. Only one group of people had come to the village today. A man and two woman. (This is going to be a slow, long day.) The Chuunin thinks to himself with a sigh. He couldn’t wait for his shift to end. Tatsuya lets out a snore. Ishimaru smiles knowing the dog has drifted into a light sleep. (Lazy mutt.) The Inuzuka thinks playfully. The nin dog somehow ignores the little drops of water falling on his fur. How? Ishimaru hasn’t the slightest clue.
