A Chunin, eager to please his sensei’s and his village. Someone who believed himself prepared to hunt someone way beyond their level. He want out to face someone that he thought he might corner, someone who he thought wouldn’t be prepared for his attack. A simple kid, unprepared to even stand up to someone who is wanted for a massacre and someone who is wanted for betrayal. A masked kid sprinted through a dark forest, huffing and trying to breath while at the same time looking over his shoulder as if someone was going to attack him from behind. He jumped up into the tree branches trying to mask his escape by jumping around like an idiot. He landed behind a giant tree and pressed his back against it, breathing loudly and deeply. He took out a kunai and leaned over his shoulder checking behind the tree to see if anyone was coming, suddenly behind him, an entertained voice announced “Heh, Itachi was right, you weren’t worth the trouble” before the Chunin had time to turn around a kunai pierced his heart killing him.
Birds flew up from the trees behind of the noise, announcing Kisame’s position. A hunter ninja, someone who had just joined the ranks of hunters tried to hunt down Kisame and Itachi. Itachi was a kid with pacifist like qualities so he naturally told Kisame to leave the kid alone, but Kisame wasn’t as forgiving as his raven haired partner. This kid now knew their location, letting him go might be a big mistake. Seemed like it was becoming a daily event- someone trying to clash with the deadly duo. The giant shark crouched slightly cutting the boys throat to make sure he was dead, he then wiped the blood from his kunai into the kids clothes and placed it back into his pouch. The giant shark like shinobi straightened his stance before looking up to the sky. He was dressed in his Akatsuki uniform with the straw hat on his head covering his face completely.
He kicked the body of the dead Chunin away to his right before walking towards the direction from which the Chunin came from. He walked in a slow pace, not rushing anywhere or even planning or running. He was enjoying the smell of the fresh air, examining the puddles formed from the recent rain. It was common in this area that it would rain; it actually even got on the sharks nerves a lot because it was annoying. Don’t get him wrong, he enjoyed the rain, but there were times when Kisame felt annoyed by the fact that they needed to stop and wait somewhere for the rain to end so they can keep walking. After all Kisame was traveling with Itachi, a kid. Being a kid his immune system was weaker and the last thing Kisame needed was a sick kid on his hands right now. Itachi was strong, very strong, but Kisame knew he was already very sick and that he will become too slow and bothersome if he catches something. Kisame sighed loudly before he remembered that Itachi was waiting for him to return from hunting that hunter. He picked up his speed and started walking a little faster. Finally he used the body flicker technique.
He appeared a top a large cave, Itachi was standing in front of it looking away to the horizon not even noticing as Kisame appeared. How could he? Itachi was a skilled kid, but not that skilled to be able to know when someone like Kisame appears close to them. He was dressed in the Akatsuki garb, which was too large for him and it made Kisame smile. He looked like a little kid trying out his father’s clothes. This cave was kind of their camp for a week; they are heading off towards Takigakure. They were planning to stay here longer but the appearance of that hunter made a very clear message that its time to leave. Kisame jumped off the cave landing steadily on the ground. His arms at his sides, samehada on his back and eyes focused at the road at which Itachi was looking at. Kisame walked forward and stopped next to Itachi “Lets go, I’ve taken care of that brat” he said in a smug and entertained tone like always. He then looked up at the clear sky “Doesn’t look like it might rain again, but we shouldn’t burn daylight, traveling at night might be a bother even for us” there were a lot of people at night that wanted to rob them. It wasn’t like Kisame was scared, they were the deadliest duo in Akatsuki, if anything Kisame just didn’t want to waste energy beat up bandits and thieves, also hunter ninja that will go looking for their little friend that Kisame took care off. They’ll be hunted soon enough.
