First impressions are the most important impressions. That was a phrase that Sakura always thought was rather true. A person's first impression was what they used to base all your future actions off of. If they thought you annoying, well, they would rate your actions from that point on as 'less annoying' or 'more annoying'. Either way, you're still considered annoying. Sadly enough, Sasuke had found her to be 'annoying', and it was that situation she was going to have to correct.
The problem was, only time could negate the consequences of a bad first impression. It was only after a lot of work and time that one could begin to change a person's view on you. Eventually they start to consider that first impression a fluke, that you really aren't 'annoying' after all. It was more of an art than a science, and it was an art that some people apparently couldn't master. Right now, Naruto was serving as her example of a person who made a bad first impression and then failed to act to improve it.
So it was with a heavy heart that Sakura was standing in her room in front of a mirror, trying to figure out just what she could to do help improve Sasuke's opinion of herself. Dinner was being made, but Sakura was thinking of skipping it. She had decided to go on a diet, hoping that losing a few pounds would help improve what little figure she did have. The only 'curves' that she had right now was the abnormally large curve of her forehead. Though right now, her hair was currently serving as a distraction from that.
Speaking of which, right now she had a major issue to deal with; knots. After dealing with Naruto all day, and running her hand through her hair in stress, she had apparently got it all knotted up. It was one of the many pains that came with such long hair, but Sasuke was supposed to like long-haired girls. So it was a good idea to keep it, right?

With one last tug, Sakura finally defeated the knots in her hair. Setting the brush down, she ran her fingers through her now smooth, knot-free hair. Sure, it was a pain to maintain, but it really did look good when all was said and done. Giving a little smile, Sakura looked out the window real quick before striking a little pose. It was a good way to raise her own confidence, reminding her that while she may not have the ‘curves’ so to speak of Ino, she was still rather cute. There was no way that Sasuke could resist her forever, right?
Being reminded of Sasuke’s calling her ‘annoying’, Sakura’s mood dimmed. She stopped posing in the mirror, and instead just kind of drooped there sadly. Why did she have a feeling this was the reason he thought her annoying? Whenever Naruto followed her like a lapdog she was ready to tear his eyes out, so what made her behavior different? Well, for one thing, she was still pretty sure that Naruto had in mind the goal of just annoying her to death and getting her in trouble. And yet, she did think there was some form of sincerity in his ‘flirtations’. Still, why did it have to be her? There were plenty of other girls in that glass he could have gone over. Heck, he should have gone after Ino.
Sakura laughed at the thought of Ino having to deal with Naruto, till she remembered she had to deal with Chouji and Shikamaru. Shikamaru was even lazier than Naruto while Chouji had a larger appetite than Naruto. To put it simple, she was having to deal with two of Naruto’s worse habits taken to the extreme. There was no benefit to it at all for Ino. On the other hand, she had Sasuke on her team. It was worth having to deal with Naruto if it meant she got to spend time with Sasuke-kun.
Of course, she still had to figure out how to improve Sasuke’s opinion of her. Looking over at the bed, she saw the bag of weapons she had bought. While she had given some to Naruto, she did keep most of it. Sitting down on the bed, she picked out a kunai knife and began twirling it around a bit. Maybe taking a moment to think away from the mirror would help her figure out the answer?
