PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION:
Kakashi Hatake could best be described as a 'long and lean' person. At 26 years old, he stands tall at 6 foot 1 inch, while weighing in at only 148 pounds. Though he is a bit on the low side for "average" weight, he is built with lean muscle. Though he is a tad on the light side of the scale, the muscle that makes up the gist of his build isnt just for show. Kakashi has a decent amount of power within him, and though it isnt astounding as though it is generated by chakra, it is still raw power. Kakashi, thanks to his build, is also considerably quick. He excells with his speed, which is a key and useful component to alot of his Taijutsu and signature Ninjutsu.
Aside from his well-cut build, Kakashi may not appear to be as physically attractive as other men in his generation. He has straight gray hair, which is actually quite spiky. Depending on the day, it tends to 'spike' up and out, or lean to the left side a bit. Finally, really only a third of his face is seen. He keeps his face veiled behind a black mask which comes up from his chest and covers his face up to the bridge of his nose. Also, instead of showing both eyes, only one is visible. His right eye is coal black, and always has a bit of a "lazy" expression, which is actually portrayed rather well with only one eye and his voice. There are few times when Kakashi is shown to have a stern expression. His left eye, on the other hand, is scarred. He keeps it covered by his shinobi headband at most times, only revealing it in times of battle. When uncovered, his left eye is revealed to be blood red, displaying a three-tomoe Sharingan. (Also, rarely seen is the ANBU tattoo he bears on his right shoulder)
CLOTHING DESCRIPTION:
Kakashi is almost always seen in his Jounin uniform. When he resigned from his ANBU status, he retired his uniform as well, never again to use it. Nowadays, he can be seen in a primarily black uniform. He wears a sleeveless, skin-tight black undershirt that extends into a mask that covers most of his face. On top of that, he wears a loose, long-sleeved black shirt with a red whorl on the right shoulder. On his hands, he wears two gloves that are fingerless & thumbless. They are iron-plated on the back, protecting his hands and being a remaining artifact from his ANBU days. Kakashi wears black, loose, long pants that come down to his ankles, but are wrapped with bandages that go down to his ankles in his black shinobi sandals (which are open-toed & open-heeled). On his right leg, he kept bandages around his right thigh, which come between his pants and his shuriken and kunai holster. Around his waist is belted a weapons pouch, which has more kunai & shuriken, exploding tags & his current Icha Icha volume. Also, on his front beltloop, he holds two bells above his pocket, which he uses to test new Genin put under his command, to determine if they pass or fail. Finally, he dons a classic Konoha jounin tactical vest. In the 6 pouches he contains various scrolls, used for his techniques and summonings.

PERSONALITY: At the start of his life, up to about the age of about 12, Kakashi lived as close to a normal life as he could. He was considered the genius of his age. His mother died when he was young, and he was hailed as the superior genius of his generation. At the age of 5, he graduated the Academy at the top of his class after only one year. At the age of 6, he became a Chuunin. He was prided, but he never let his head get too big from it. He had his goals to accomplish, he wouldnt let anything get in the way. At the age of 12, his father took his own life, disgracing the Hatake name, and Kakashi became incredibly secluded from the disgrace, and felt so shamed as to the extent of covering his face with a mask. Because of why his father took his life, Kakashi felt it was proper for his life to be lived strictly by the Shinobi code. He displayed these traits to his teammates, especially to Obito Uchiha, who was seen as the 'looser' of Team Minato. At the age of 13, Kakashi was a Jounin, and selected to lead Team Minato on a mission during the 3rd Great Ninja World War. Many events occurred, and Obito left a huge, changing impact on Kakashi, right before he died and forever afterwards as well.
He is now more cheerful and shows greater concern for his teammates, placing their safety over the successful completion of a mission. He is also regularly late for appointments. This is because of his frequent visits to the memorial where Obito's name is engraved, where he loses track of time. Kakashi claims to have lost everyone who was close to him, causing some reluctance to allow others to get close to him. Of the people who are still alive, Kakashi is on the best terms with his students. However, Kakashi is still just as carefree and emotionless as he was during his youth, often speaking bluntly about sensitive topics. With his carefree & laid-back expression, aloof manner, relaxed voice and minimalist attitude, Kakashi can be relied upon to provide comic relief through his lack of attention. However, when required to be serious, Kakashi quickly switches to the polar opposite, focusing himself on the subject and not missing a single thing.
Many, both inside the ninja village and outside, know his reputation but he has few real friends. The closest he has is Maito Gai, another Jounin team leader. The pair forms a good comedy duo, with Kakashi assuming the role of the straight arrow while Gai’s over-the-top dialogue and actions often earn him a response in the vein of “Did you say something?” from Kakashi. Gai describes Kakashi as hip, cool and trendy but seems to be the main instigator of their rivalry, often making the situation more complicated and unusual than necessary.

Kakashi is the son of Hatake Sakumo; a ninja blessed with extreme skill which earned himself the nickname of Konoha’s White Fang. This was either due to his sharply pointed white hair or the family tanto he carried, which emitted a white chakra when used by a Hatake. Kakashi himself would later possess this. Sakumo’s reputation was comparable with that of The Legendary Three but his attitude proved to be his undoing. Sakumo aborted a mission that cost his village dearly, with the reason for the abortion being the safety of his comrades. Shamed, Sakumo took his own life. Kakashi grew up with a very cold attitude, basing efficiency in carrying out the mission to be the #1 priority.
Kakashi accomplished a lot in the younger years of his life. He was the student of the man who would go on to become the Fourth Hokage, taking over that man’s role as commander of his team. His reputation has been widely increased thanks to an unexpected advantage coming from the first mission he performed as a Jounin. During a war, Kakashi’s objective was to destroy a bridge that aided the enemy Rock ninja forces. In an encounter with them, the team’s medic, Rin, was kidnapped and interrogated by the enemy. Kakashi, seeing her as a hindrance to the team, made the decision to leave her. However, his other companion, Uchiha Obito, refused and rejected his ideals.
“Those who don’t follow the rules and regulations are trash”. Kakashi lived by the motto, his Nindo. “But those who don’t care about their companions are worse than trash!” Obito added to it. Obito set off on his own to rescue Rin, but Kakashi followed him and saved him from an ambush, which cost Kakashi his left eye. Obito felt consumed by doubt and in a vow to protect his friend, his eyes lit up in red and the Sharingan sprouted for the first time with a pair in each eye. His enhanced vision penetrated the enemy’s camouflage and he was able to strike him down.
Catching up to Rin, the pair ran into another enemy, who attempted to kill all three by crushing them with falling rocks. As one was about to strike Kakashi, Obito slung him aside and took the hit instead. Totally crushed on his right side, Obito knew his death was imminent and made the decision to have his left eye removed and implanted into Kakashi by Rin. Kakashi accepted it and sought revenge on the Rock ninja. The battle broke the tanto in half, perhaps symbolic of Kakashi’s heartlessly efficient motto only being half correct. Kakashi then fell back on the perfected version of his first self-created move: Chidori.
The Rock ninja was taken down, but reinforcements soon arrived. Fortunately the kunai Kakashi was carrying was modified to alert their sensei if it was thrown. Blanking out from exhaustion after he attempted Chidori, Kakashi awoke to find all the enemies gone and the team leader with them once more. Rin gazed off into the distance, thinking about the events of the day. Since the loss of Obito, Kakashi took on several of his personality traits. He started to relax the strictness of his punctuality and also made up poor yet amusing excuses for being late. In truth, visiting the grave marker of Obito every day caused his lateness. He also decided that the mission was no longer the #1 priority.
In the coming years, Kakashi would acquire his own nickname – Copy Ninja Kakashi, due to him using the ability of the Sharingan to steal or adapt techniques he saw with it. He would also join the elite ANBU, a squad of masked ninja who worked directly under the Hokage. Kakashi further honed his skills while an ANBU, and earned the respect of many fellow ANBU including "Yamato" and Uzuki Yuugao. It also appears it was during this period when Kakashi and Gai developed their eternal rivalry. At some point during this period he may have also signed his blood oath with his nin-dogs.

SHARINGAN ::
The first of the Sharingan's powers is being able to see the chakra flow. The Sharingan can tell if a person is under a genjutsu because the person's chakra flow would be irregular. The Sharingan's second-most prominent ability grants the user an incredible clarity of perception, allowing them to easily recognize genjutsu and different forms of chakra, though not to the same extent as the Byakugan. This also allows the user to pick up on subtle details, enabling them to read lip movements or mimic something like pencil movements. As the Sharingan evolves, gaining more tomoe seals, this ability extends to being able to track fast-moving objects before finally giving some amount of predictive capabilities to the user. However, even though the user may be able to see an attack or know it is coming, their body may not have time to react. The Sharingan's third and most well-known ability is that it grants the user the ability to memorize any technique that he or she witnesses, apart from other Kekkei Genkai techniques. The user can memorize ninjutsu, genjutsu, and taijutsu with perfect accuracy, allowing the user to use the techniques as his own, or even modify them to create his own new techniques. In addition to physical skill and kekkei genkai techniques, the Sharingan cannot reproduce jutsu dependent on other factors, such as summons that the user has not signed a contract with. The Sharingan's final ability is capable of inducing a unique brand of hypnosis that involves suggesting actions and thoughts to the opponent through simple eye contact. When used in conjunction with the other aspects of the Sharingan, this allows the user to perfectly mimic every move their opponents make even before they do, making it appear as if the user can "see the future". More advanced Sharingan users can take the hypnosis ability even further by tricking or even trapping their opponent within an illusion. The potency of the Sharingan's illusion is dependent on the user's knowledge and skill with implementing genjutsu.

JUTSU:
- Chidori [Chidori] :: A Ninjutsu technique developed by Hatake Kakashi utilizing the Lightning Element. Chidori allows him to cut through any foe. Chidori is used for assassination purposes.
- Demonic Illusion: Hell Viewing Technique [Magen: Narakumi no Jutsu] :: A Genjutsu technique which throws the victim into a dark forest, where they see a mangled version of someone they're close to.
- Earth Release: Double Suicide Decapitation Technique [Doton: Shinjū Zanshu no Jutsu] :: The user appears under the target, and drags them above ground up to their neck. The target, until having escaped, cannot move.
- Earth Release: Underground Projection Fish Technique [Doton: Dochū Eigyo no Jutsu] :: Allows the user to move easily and silently underground, not giving away their position. Emerge easily when needed.
- Evil Sealing Method [Fūja Hōin] :: Enables the user to place a seal on a jutsu-enduced person, restraining the power of the jutsu on their body. Is said to be quite painful for the receiver.
- Fire Release: Great Fireball Technique [Katon: Gōkakyu no Jutsu] :: User expells a great amount of fire out of their mouth. After gathering air in their mouth and chakra in their chest, the user forcefully exhales.
- Lightning Cutter [Raikiri] :: An enhanced form of the Chidori with the same effects and drawbacks, but more concentrated. Raikiri requires better chakra control, which is exemplified in its appearance.
- Multiple Shadow Clone Technique [Tajuu Kage Bunshin no Jutsu] :: Basically a massive version of the Shadow Clone Technique. Instead of a few clones, it creates a few hundred clones. Considered a Kinjutsu because of the mass amount of chakra it has potential to use if used improperly.
- One Thousand Years of Death [Sennen Goroshi] :: A very simple technique that requires the user to insert one's index and middle fingers into the opponent's rectum, causing constipation, pain and/or embarrassment.
- Shadow Clone Technique [Kage Bunshin no Jutsu] :: Similar to the Clone Technique, this jutsu creates clones of the user. Unlike the Clone Technique, these clones are actual copies, not illusions.
- Silent Homicide Technique [Sairento Kiringu] :: This technique is simply a very quiet method of killing an opponent, usually from behind with a blade.
- Summoning Technique (Dogs) [Kuchiyose no Jutsu] :: Kakashi summons his ninken mostly for tracking purposes. He can summon them separately, as he commonly does so with Pakkun, or all together. He can also summon them for special purposes, like he does with his Summoning Technique: Earth Release: Tracking Fang Technique. With this technique, the dogs can travel through the ground following the scent of their target, emerging when the target is found and holding them in place.
- Summoning Technique: Earth Release: Tracking Fang Technique [Kuchiyose: Doton: Tsuiga no Jutsu] :: After he marks an opponent with his blood, Kakashi rolls out a scroll and smears his blood across it. Afterwards he places it between his hands and makes the seals before he slams the scroll into the ground. The Ninken are summoned there and travel through the ground following the scent of the blood. When the target is found, they erupt from the ground and hold down the opponent with their mouths. Kakashi uses this to immobilize an opponent for his Lightning Blade.
- Clone Jutsu [Bunshin no Jutsu] :: Creates an illusionary copy of the user, vanishes fairly easily, but is usable in the small time they are able to remain.
- Doton no Jutsu - Earth Release Technique :: Allows the ninja to change their chakra into earth. This allows the ninja to go into the earth and hide from his opponents, manipulate the earth in attacks or create earth to use against their opponents.
- Kinobori no Waza - Act of Tree Climbing :: Enables the user to climb trees using only their feet via concentrated chakra.
- Suimen Hokou no Waza - Act of Water Surface Walking :: Allows the user to walk and run on water by using the same technique used to climb a tree using only their feet, by focusing chakra in their feet.
- Kai - Release :: Enables the user to free themselves from most any Genjutsu.
- Body Replacement Technique [Kawarimi no Jutsu] :: Enables the user to replace themselves with a log to avoid minimal to moderate damage.
- Cloak of Invisibility Technique [Kakuremino no Jutsu] :: Enables user to become virtually invisible via disguise.

The afternoon was starting to grow late, and the sun appeared huge against the horizon it was slowly but surely beginning to meet. Kakashi's dark eye was relaxed, for the time being. He had just completed an S-ranked mission for the Hokage...a mission that was long overdue, infact. The mission was a classified matter, and the Third had long been asking Kakashi to take the mission on.
Behind Kakashi's mask which hid his face, he gave a small frown. He was nowhere near Konoha, and in the distance, he could just barely see the remains of the Abandoned City. He had been leaping through the sparse trees, but for a few miles out from the City, it was totally desolate. He was going to start having to run soon enough. With a final leap, Kakashi felt as though he could have been carried by the wind for miles as he sailed through the air. His hair rifted backwards and continued to fluff and spike outwards with the wind, and it streamed out right above his head, and shook a bit when he hit the ground. Pushing himself up with his open-finger gloved hands, Kakashi took off at a run, his arms behind him.
He ran for about 20 minutes without much of an effort, and found himself near the edge of the city. He stopped, and looked up at the buildings. The windows were all blown out, shingles and bricks lay astray everywhere...it was a bit of a disturbing site. He reached his hand up and scratched his neck. It was such a bother to go so far away on missions, especially in infrequented areas. Easy...what kind of Jounin makes rash actions? he quizzed himself. Calming down a bit, he lowered his hand and began walking.
Glancing around, he couldnt see much of his peripheral vision of his right eye because of his headband, but he could sense chakra if necessary. He knew this city was the home of the Ninja Cats, but it was a good "hideout" for some rogue ninja, missing-nins, and bandits as well. Not a pleasant place, but it was nothing Kakashi couldnt handle. With one blow from his Ninjutsu or Raikiri, they would be done. He sensed chakra before he heard or saw anything or anyone. He automatically became alert. This chakra was not much of a threat at all, but it was persistent...
Sighing, Kakashi made a note not to waste too much time. He'd gotten wind of the fact that he was supposed to be a Jounin sensei yet again for a potential three-man Genin team. This lot will probably fail like all the rest...might be interesting to time it...to see how long it takes them to amuse me with their feeble attempts...Genin are highly amusing.. However, he'd also heard that in this generation of Genin there was the Uchiha prodigy, second-to-lone survivor, Sasuke, and the Kyuubi Bijuu, Minato Namikaze's son. Guess teams pass from generation to generation, if luck only grants us the honor...
