Well, it happened. The fourth Kazekage managed to send Myaku on a mission somehow. You ask how? Myaku wasn’t even certain. All that he remembers is him and the Kazekage glaring at each other for a long period of time and four ANBU officers surrounding them. Long story short, Myaku was convinced that it would be in his interests to get off his ass and start doing some actual work for the village. Truth be told, Myaku actually needed money to pay for his bills, so a mission right now was perfect. Too bad, that the mission didn’t go exactly as the fast shinobi planned it to go. His mission was to assassinate a councilman that was heavily opposing the Daimyo’s decisions. Well, he had conducted a foolproof plan. He’d wait for the councilman to go for his daily hot spring sessions, stab him while he’s in his private chamber and leave him in the water. Sadly, he overslept. He ended up charging into his mansion and breaking his neck.
But, all’s well that ends well. The mission was complete and Myaku was finally heading back home to the sand village. Of course he knew that the fourth wouldn’t be satisfied with such an end to a mission. It was an A ranked mission after all, he should get some praise. But, knowing what a whinier the fourth was he was only going get scolded. Myaku never grasped; why and how did that guy become the Kazekage? Myaku was near certain that he could take that guy. He was faster then him, which was just a fact, he probably was more skilled in ninjutsu and he was probably a better analyst. But, even Myaku realized that he was just too lazy to ever be capable of performing the Kazekage’s duty. He let out a sigh as he sprinted through the large desert wastes, thinking about such trivial nonsense. The heat was unbearable and he needed a nap.
It had been a long time since the young Jounin did something similar to such a mission. The last time, was when he was in the ANBU. He swiftly shook his head right and left, trying to forget such things. He remembered the days that he was an active shinobi with a grim frown. He wasn’t the type to work and the type to actually do anything. Of course, he still trains like a maniac and that’s probably the reason why he’s always tired, but he just wants to rest all day and never worry. Why send him on missions? Just give him a desk job and he’d be happy. And now he’s been told that he’s being considered to be assigned to lead some kind of weird genin squad. Just his luck, a bunch of brats running around and screaming, interrupting his naps. He let out another sigh; he started sprinting in full speed, and fired off like a rocket. With incredible speed, he cut through the desert and was closing in on the village. He’d be there in a matter of minutes.
The village was but a short, fast sprint away. But, he could feel his dry mouth getting the better of him. Looking around, he saw an oasis slightly further from him. Like a black blur, he quickly appeared right next to the oasis. The shinobi dressed in black let out a sigh. This was inhumane to him. Since when does an elite shinobi like him get sent on missions like these? He’s an elite, he should be a last resort.“I hate this place… I hate sand” he muttered to himself as he kneeled on his right knee to get closer to the oasis water. He put his hands together and slowly dipped them into the water, sending ripples along the clear surface of the water and blurring out his reflection. After he had taken enough water from the oasis, he lifted it up to his mouth. Shifting his lips into a kissing like state, he sipped the water before he threw his head back and drank it all in one gulp. He felt immediately refreshed. He took another handful of water and splashed it on his face, before wiping it slightly with his sleeve. Then, his half open eyes spotted something on the other side of the oasis. He slowly stood up and opened his eyes to get a better look at him.
The guy took off one of his sandals and was knocking sand out of it. This made it obvious enough that the guy wasn’t from Sunagakure. The people from the village walk in a slightly different manner; their feet kick against the sand instead of into it as they walk so the sand doesn’t get in their shoes. Myaku rubbed his right eye with his right hand. The man dressed in the red shirt was carrying a bag. Obviously he was a traveler, but he wore no headband which leads Myaku to believe he wasn’t a shinobi or was hiding his headband. But, why hide his headband if he’s a shinobi? Only reason why anyone would do that is the fact that they are missing ninja. Then again, Myaku never wore his forehead protector and the only reason why was because he was too lazy and it annoyed him. Myaku had to investigate; this guy might be a potential threat to the village. Myaku took a few steps closer and came to a halt. “Wait a second, I’m not going to get paid for this…”he muttered to himself, remembering that he’s simply wasting his time for no actual reason. This raised the obvious question, why would he do this?
That was a question he asked a million times over, but he had to be a little protective of his village, that was his job. He actually had no idea that’s actually a ninja’s job. He casually strolled over to the man lying on the sand close to the palm and spoke “Yo” he gave a lazy two finger salute to the man as he leaned over him. Legs straight and head leaned over a sleeping man, this was the worst position a man can possibly be in. “Traveling somewhere?” he asked as he raised an eyebrow, examining the lying bag. If anything, he had his chokuto on his back, he’d be fine.

[OOC: I find it rather dumb of your character to assume that Myaku is from Suna and then point out that his clothes are unfit for the desert weather, that's not very good/smart analyzing lol]Myaku kept his eyes on the bag and constantly kept jumping them back to the man who was getting ready to sleep in the oasis. Myaku held his tongue, trying not to chuckle about this idea, sleeping in the oasis? Why doesn’t he just lie down in the middle of the road and freeze during the night or wake up without his clothes and stuff. This guy wasn’t the brightest candle in the shed. The guy kept opening his eyes and peeking at Myaku, plainly rude if you ask him, Myaku was an official shinobi, and if he wanted he could arrest this guy. Myaku made out a smile of amusement at the man; did he ever come to Suna before? He seemed so out of it. Myaku found this man rather reminiscent of Nazu personality wise. Though he tried not to dwell on his misfortunate past. Myaku couldn’t find anything to comment about the man, strange red shirt, black hair, bag, no he forehead protector. Myaku could only assume all of his aspects and traits.
The person’s rather cocky attitude was noted by the Sunagakure Jounin, but he seemed not to be causing any problems so Myaku was just inspecting for no reason. The person started to analyze his traits, Myaku smirked at the man, he was no doubt a somehow affiliated with the ANBU, you could tell just from his eye movements and by his way of analyzing, all ANBU members are taught to be keen and analyze every situation in depth before acting. For a guy who was being questioned by a stranger this guy seemed rather calm and let his guard down completely, that might mean he’s that naïve or that he’s a ninja. These two facts about the man lead Myaku to believe he was somehow affiliated with another country ANBU, in which case, Myaku found it odd that they sent a single ANBU on a mission in a foreign country. That or he wasn’t on one.
He explained his situation about running “an errand” it wasn’t an explanation actually, he just stated it and it gave more questions then it answered. For one, what was this errand? Might that be his way of stating he’s on a mission, but if he was he probably wouldn’t disclose such information on the spot without even being interrogated. Myaku’s calm and friendly expression remained unchanged as he watched the man. His hand reached for his bag and Myaku assumed that he was going into battle, his body stance didn’t change nor did his facial expression lead the other man to believe he thought so. But, he simply drew a water bottle from his bag and refreshed himself with a cool gulp of water. Interesting, Myaku gained more evidence to him being a ninja; a civilian wouldn’t be so calm around a strange person in a foreign country.
His rather casual take on this whole situation proved more to Myaku then his actual words. For one, this guy wasn’t used to Sunagakure, nor did he travel here often. Second, this guys casual act showed that he was a shinobi, combine these two facts and you understand that this guy was a shinobi from another county. That being said, this guy was most likely on a mission to Sunagakure, though, with the tensions between Konoha and Suna rising, it brings out the question- what mission? Was he an ANBU officer sent to calculate Sunagakure’s forces and defenses? Or was he even an ANBU? Strangely enough, his attitude pointed to no, but his eye movement pointed to yes. If this guy was an ANBU or is an ANBU at one point, he’s definitely not on a mission; recon squads usually have two or three people in the squad with different traits.
”I take it you are from Sunagakure? Looking into a traveler’s bag means that you are a thief or someone that is protecting something they care about and since we are in the middle of the desert I am guess the second one, since thief would already move to kill.” Observant of the guy to say so. He took into consideration that they were in a desert and that he was a thief he’d gone into action now. “Hmm, If I was a thief I’d be in another part of the country by how selling or stuff or your corpse for a bounty” he was that fast, even when carrying a person, traversing the wind country wasn’t a challenge for him. His second option didn’t really fit Myaku either, he’s loyal to Sunagakure and protects it with all he’s got, but he’s not a guardian of the town’s border. “Or, I’m just investigating a stranger taking a nap in an oasis”
Actually, a nap sounded really good to Myaku right about now, all this thinking and the mission really dragged on. Then again, this guy’s observations proved to Myaku even more that he might somehow be affiliated with the ANBU, or was once. Or maybe even that he’s that smart of a Jounin. How did Myaku even decide that he was a Jounin? Such an attitude in a foreign country combined with such a relaxed and calm mind proved to Myaku that this guy had some skill and experience under his belt.“Running an errand huh? Strange, last I checked ANBU are rather on the busy side and running errands to foreign countries just messes with their schedule” He pointed out with a gentle and friendly tone. Actually, he didn’t point it out, he stated it in hopes that the guy would slip up and reveal that he was an ANBU, but for now that was simply Myaku’s speculation with small hints of evidence. Myaku was ready to take this guy on.
