It was of course a hot day in the Land of Wind. Nothing was blowing, but the sand around the small oases. Sand crystals blew across the small water and gently landing on the surface before sinking down to the bottom. Near the east part of the water a tree stood out that casted a shadow down on the water. The light blue sky above showed no signs of approaching storms and the sun rays were beaming down in a fit of fury. It was nothing uncommon here in the Wind nation and it was to be expected after all in a place like this.
Quickly, though, someone was running towards to oases, the person seemed like they knew where they was going at last, but at the same time still miles and miles away from Sunagakure. The tall figure slowed down when he saw the water and tree. He looked around and pushed some of his hair out of his eyes that fell due to the sweat that was on his forehead. He came to a stop and looked around the area to see no one there. He might as well take a break at the moment; it was too hot to do much more running without water in his system or something. ”Hmm, from my calculations, I am still a good day away from Suna. Resting here would not affect me that much besides, Kyosuke did tell me to take my time…it is not like the ANBU needs me just now.”
The figure was dressed in black pants, black heeled shinobi sandals, and a dark red long sleeve shirt. He had placed his Konoha Headband in his bag he had on his back in case he was stopped along the way. His bag was on his left shoulder and was the color of onyx. His passport laid in his pouch in his hip for easy access as well. His hair was short and messy for the most part, but he didn’t seem to mind that at the moment. There was two weapons hanging from both sides, but it looked as if he could easily get to them if need be. He just hoped that he didn’t have to use them.
He walked closer to the water and moved into the shade of the only tree in the area. He took off his bag and sat it down on the sand. He slowly eased himself down on the sand and his feet were close to the water. He leaned back onto his palms for a moment and allowed the wind blow against his face. ”Too hot here in the Wind….I might be the breeze, but this is ridiculous. Kyosuke can ran this errand next time and I will look out for the clan…” He chuckled to himself and looked up some to the land. He started to shake his left shoe some and grinned. He had gotten sand all in his shoes from running. He had no doubt that sand was sticking to just about all of his clothing and it would be something he would have to change once he reached the village.
He pushed himself up and pulled his left shoe off to knock out the sand in it. He titled the shoe up and watched a small amount of sand pour out of it. He sighed slightly and rubbed the back of his head some. He repeated the process with his right shoe and then placed his shoes next to the bag. He had no doubt that the sand that was hitting the sun directly was hot, but his plan was to move with the shadow of the tree until it crew darker. He dug his toes into the cool sand in the shadow and smiled slightly. He reached over and pulled out his water bottle and took a drink of it before laying all the way back onto the sand and placing his hands under his head and use them as a pillow. He slowly closed his eyes, but yet to drift off to sleep.

With the small space of time, the land around had already started morphing! They more likely should be called the shifting sands. No doubt the wind would knock these sand dunes around, no ridge or landscaped surrounding could possibly look the same after a days time, how easy it would be to get lost in this area.
Wasn't long, or had been long since she'd been sent out on a small recon mission from Sunagakure no Sato. Thankgod (believes) she was born here? she knew this place like the back of her hand. The one boring thing about this small job she was entrusted with was the fact that she'd been out here, zooming along, all by herself with no one around to talk to or even have a mild conversation regarding her mission, she loathed working alone as she'd rather herself in a better mood when working with a team. Then again she had to learn how to work alone due to the fact that being a ninja later in life there will be many missions where she will have to solo work. She'd been thinking of most definetly becoming a Sensei when she grabs Jounin title. That would most probably raise the prosperity towards her village, then on the other hand there are positions for the villages well-being such as law and order or other that she could help with prosperity of her villages growth.
She'd been pondering about mostly stupid things all day without taking into consideration that she was a slight bit off course. The fact of the matter being that she'd skipped an enter location from wich she was meant to check out. Small jobs that ninjas take wasn't as half bad considering that some get the more boring or loathed jobs, so infact she was happy with what she got. As the fact that she'd noted down that she'd "Gone" and checked out that section, although a lie, was enough to please her as she'd head towards a small oasis that was nearby that she'd known of.
In a flurry of sand that stretched behind her as she'd scream towards the oasis, her air gears kicking up the sand beneath her as she zoomed off at a most fastened speed. The oasis seemed to get closer and closer as she felt herself in need of water more and more badly. The closer she got the more she could feel the cold water against her skin.
In a small amount of time she was at the oasis pool, in a small sighed gasp of air she'd thrown her Air Gears off along with her bag and her hat & goggles followed by the rest of her clothes as she'd not even cared to look for anyone around her as she'd slowly climb into the cool oasis water to cool off.
"AHH!!... this-this is more like it! Atleast it beats being in the hot surroundings of the Sunagakure streets.. or home?" She'd seemed to say in a reliefed voice, still not aware anyone else around her. Feeling as if she to would pass out from her tired state within the cooling waters of the oasis pool.

Daisuke was slightly confused when he heard a splash from the small pond. He didn’t even know that someone came up on him. He figured that he had to be really tired to let something like that slip. True he knew that he shouldn’t have completely let down his guard like that because it could have cost him his life. He was not on a mission, but still things were odd for a shinobi. One never let their guard down like he had just done.
He pushed himself up and opened his eyes with a small yawn that probably went unheard. He took a glance over to see were the shadow of the tree was now that he had been laying in before he laid down. It was a bit further away from him than he thought it would have been. It would have meant that he actually did fall asleep there for a bit and that was unlike him. He was glad that the person that had come up didn’t notice him or his stuff.
He pulled his legs up so his knees were pointing up at the sky now. He knew his face was probably red at the moment, but that was something that he was just going to have to get over in time and there was no need to worry about it at the moment. It was more important to worry about the person that had just interrupted his little nap, although, he figured it was a welcome in disguise there. If she didn’t wake him up when she did there would be no telling what she could have done to him if she figured he was a threat to her.
He finally let his eyes travel to the pond he was sitting in front of. Daisuke’s eyes fell upon a girl that was getting out of the heat the only way she knew how; soaking her body in the cool water of the oasis. He held back laugh, but not before he laid back down on his back. The sand had gotten a bit warm from the time he sat up and went back down, but that was the price he was going to pay at the moment.
”You know, you really should watch where you decide to jump into the water. You never know what types of creeps that you would run into out here.” Friendly advice from someone that barely looked like they belonged in the desert of the Wind Nation. Hell he was only here because of his cousin at the moment. This was a family business mission and nothing that tied him to the Leaf would really stand out about him at the moment. He looked like a normal traveler. However, he could easily be able to defend himself if needed.

Well, the fact that today was hotter then normal how could she compare when normally everyday is beyond the point where an icecream could even quench the drought with in ones mouth? At least where she was it was at standards to keeping her thinking straight. And alas, she was in heaven for all she knew for the few minutes she'd had un-interrupted. Not knowing about who was around her was a relief from most of the duties the council had her running around doing for half the time she's awake. This would also fall under her stupidity as a ninja to not check her surroundings and to be alert. Her brain was fried from the hot harsh desert, some slack was intended.
She'd felt the cold and easing water decrease the temperature, making sure not to get her hair wet as she'd seem to lay stomach first upon the edge of the water, little did she know that the person she'd failed to register in the surroundings had already peeked over.
A small assuring laugh was enough to snap her out of her calmed state as she'd flash up into a burst to cover herself up, noting from the tone in voice it was a male.
”You know, you really should watch where you decide to jump into the water. You never know what types of creeps that you would run into out here.” Attempting to try and cover her naked body as she'd slowly move over to her bag to pull out the towel she had within it a noted growl escaped past her lips as she'd target the source of the voices location. "What are you talking about 'Creeps' for! You're practically one of them!! Looking upon the body of a fifteen year old naked girl seems to spell much of a 'Creep' to me! Don't look you perv!" She'd seemed to end in a scream.
She'd located her stuff while most comically trying to cover herself as best as she could while trying to retrieve the towel from her back pack. Finally wrapping the towel around herself did she also slip on her gloves that had the Hitae-ate of her village on the back of them as well as two Kunai in both hands. Only once she'd re-assured herself that the towels not going to budge did she slowly move from her possessions towards the man. "Ok! Who are you, why are you perving on me! Ya' creep!" She'd finish as she'd strike up a pose with her Kunai ready to defend.

Dai couldn’t help but laugh at the girl’s action to his voice. It was something that was expected. He had only noticed the top of her head when he did look at who had waked him up from his nap. He could tell that she was younger than him by miles and knew it would be wrong to staring at her. Plus he wanted an excuse to lie back down anyways and this gave him a perfect one for the most part. It was not the perfect excuse, but it would hold up for now. He was just tired from the heat that he had never really been in before.
Dai sighed slightly when she started to call him a pervert. It was not like he was trying to look at her it just happened. He knew that even if he said that he didn’t see anything that the likely hood of her believing him was slim. He would have to pay this one by ear at the moment and had to come up with something to say to keep his rear out of anymore trouble.
However, Dai didn’t feel like thinking at the moment and just laid there in the dirt until he hear her getting out of the water and speaking to him again. He opened one of his eyes to see her wrap in a towel and wearing two gloves. He could see the back of one and noticed the Sand symbol on it. ’If she wears the Sand Symbol, means she a shinobi from Sunagakure, but she claims she fifteen means if she out here alone she not a genin. She is at least a Chuunin.” Dai was not quite sure what he was going to do. It was not like he was here for the Leaf and knew getting into a large conflict with the girl would mean he would have to place her in her place.
He raised his hand and covered his mouth from a yawn as she defended herself with the kunai. Like he was that kind of creep that would attack someone that was not even dress? He sighs some and reached into his bag slowly and pulled out his passport and threw it into the sand near her. It was better than her coming over here to him to get it. ”Iwahashi Daisuke. Just a traveler that took a nap in the sun and you woke up with your splashing into the water. If I was that much of a creeper I would have probably sat watching you until you actually noticed me. Sorry, but you are way too young for my taste.” He laid his head back and reclosed his eyes for now. He didn’t want to see like he was going to attack her for the most part that would just look bad on him.

She'd seemed to steam off as she'd feel the hot weather pound against her skin before the wind slightly picked up making the water layer on her skin suddenly hit a cold temperature as she'd stand there shivering, she'd heard the man Daisuke laugh.
Not that she was actually calling him a creep, the fact that she hadn't had a clue what the man had been doing before hand had made the assumption that he was indeed perving. Though his reactions seemed to create a more calmer scene as she'd seemed to lower her suspicions somewhat. Though when she had listened to his reasoning she'd almost laughed herself as she'd bend slowly down to check his passport. She'd somewhat giggle about the comment of her age and his type, although she almost came back with a seedy comment that could have probably ruined the now correcting moment. She'd turn around slowly as she'd return towards her bag. Slowly dropping Daisuke's passport upon the ground she'd slowly drop the towel before shaking her head, in a single moments notice she'd kicked her right foot up causing her body to scale backwards into a flip, as soon as the right had planted from the landing she'd spun and spun her left out to the side as she'd create what seemed to be a out of control spin, water spraying everywhere from her speed of the spin she'd created before landing both feet upon the sand in a landing from where she'd ended with her arms up.
Completely forgetting on the moment about her other person nearby she'd quickly tended to completely dressing herself now she'd dried herself off. Quickly picking up her stuff along with his passport she'd make her way over towards Daisuke, calmly with a grin the size of the world upon her face as she'd stop beside him presenting his passport back to him.
"So! What are you doing here!?" She'd seemed to almost bounce up in glee as she'd finish.
Only getting a bit excited as she'd soon after finishing gone ahead and dropped the passport onto Daisuke as she'd drop herself down onto the ground next to him as she'd start to replace her Air Gears upon her feet. "Oh my apologies! Where are my Manners, I'm Simca the Swallow! I'm a Chuunin of Sunagakure no Sato. I'm on a small routine scout around these parts as directed jobs by the council, I simply just see it as something to do!" Seeming to finish upon placing her Air Gears with ease and fastened pace as she'd already jumped to her feet smiling down upon Daisuke.

Daisuke paid no attention to Simca when she took up his passport and look at it. In fact he leaned back and closed his eyes again as if he was going back to sleep for the most part. He didn’t like the heat, but laying down at the moment seemed like the best thing to do, besides he could always travel in the dark with his scouting abilities. He didn’t mind having the younger girl there at the moment since all she was doing was doing her duty for her village. That was what he would have done for the most part anyways.
Dai didn’t even notice her come back towards him to try and give his passport back to him. His bag was closed again so she could not see his weapons in his back, but he doubted that causing a fight with her that he was going to need it. He slowly opened his eyes when she asked him what he was doing here. He knew he should answer her honestly, but at the same time knew he shouldn’t. What happened between the clan here and the Iwahashi was something that needed to stay between the two of them. He grinned slightly and picked up his passport and slipped it into his pocket.
”Err, sorry but that really none of your business. It is a family matter is why I came here and that is all you should know for now.” Dai tried not to sound rude, but knew at the same time that he was coming across as it. He sighed slightly to himself and reached up and massaged his forehead for a moment with his hand.
He slowly looked over to her when she said her name and what she was doing on in the middle of the desert. He nodded slightly remembering all those times that he was placed on scout missions in the Leaf. It was not something new for him to know since he was once a Chuunin with the same missions from time to time. ”At least you have a mission and means you are doing something for your village and earning money at the same time. All that matters if you know what you are doing is right for you.”
Dai gave a smile and sat up for a second time and looked around. He reached up with his hand and dusted the sand out of the back of his hair and closed his eyes some. ”Iwahashi Daisuke. I am travelling from Konohagakure.” He knew that travelling without an escort was never a good idea especially if he was trying to be low key. However, he felt like he was not going to be running into anything or one, but he was wrong about that. He didn’t know if he should make something up or just tell her that he was a shinobi.
”Jounin from the Leaf really.” He shrugged some and leaned back on his hands. ”I am not here as a shinobi right now, just doing something for my family that is all. I got side track with a nap.” He gave a weak smile and closed his eyes slightly. He looked up to her and raised his eyebrow. ”You have too much engery calm down.” He grabbed his bottle of water and took a drink.

The breeze seemed to pick a up a bit as her hair would lift slightly as she'd look up and out towards the vast open desert with barely a thing unusual within its sight. she'd seemed stuck in a trance shortly after what Dai had said, Jounin...hmm... She'd seemed to grow a small smile that seemed to be lit up with large amount of heartwamrth as she'd continue to look out towards the vast desert, the trance itself seemed catchy as she'd seemed to draw her arms up and sort of hide her head into her sleeves with a giggle.
"Jounin huh?"She'd seemed to give a small chuckle as she'd look down towards him."Iwahashi Daisuke 'ey... hmm."
She'd seemed to stare for a short while before jumping up and down. "I'm going to become a jounin! I'm going to become the best Taijutsu specialist! And I will let my name be known!.." She'd slowly stop to a small bounce before completely ceasing all movement as she'd look down towards Daisuke. "To find my real origins and heritage is my goal! Tsubame no Simca! Remember that name 'ey!!" She'd let out a small squell as she'd throw out her thumbs up in approval towards Daisuke before almost falling over cracking up in laughter.
She'd slowly get togehter before fixing her goggles upon her head. "SO.. SIR!! why would you allow Simca the Swallow to escort you towards you're destination! Calm and on time! I may be Chuunin but i'm a legend in the making haha!" Shoving her thumbs infront of herself once again towards him as she'd suddenly stop as she'd look around and then back to her thumbs up. "Wow.. I really looked like a dork didn't I HAHA" ending with a loud laugh. She'd scout around playfully with her hands above her eyes as if to exagerrate on the suns rays beating down upon them. "Why yes i do have alot of energy! btw! haha I never thought i'd had a pervert stop by and watch me swim. Another day in the life of a shinobi 'eh?" She'd stand tall letting out a more herioc laugh as she'd pull her hands closed to her sides.

Dai watched her repeat his rank and name. It felt weird for her to be repeating things that he had said to her as if his name really didn’t mean that much to him. That was all it was a name that sooner or later he was going to forget and could not see him going by it for that much longer. He ran his hand through his hair and slightly and closed his eyes before putting on a smile towards her. It was the best he could do at the moment, but he was not going to let her seem him down. Dai was very good about hiding his feelings to most people and there was others like Simc that he just meet that he would not show anything of the sort.
Dai blinked when she claimed that she was going to be a Jounin one day and that he should remember her name. He laughed to himself slightly since he realized when he was her age that most of his life revolved around the clan and being a high shinobi. He thought for a second and nodded some. ”If memory serves me well,” Dai said, but added in a small dark mutter. ”Not that it serves me well anyways…” He glanced at the water and spoke up again. ”I was a Chuunin at your age…in fact I was promoted at the age of ten or so to Genin in my village. I sorta showed up an Genin up during a mock mission and I was promoted with the twelve year olds. Don’t rush things…take your time…your youth is important as well.” He gave a short smile and started to say her name over and over again in his head.
He would have to remember to write her name down in his notebook. He didn’t want to show her the book at the moment and have her ask questions that he didn’t feel like answering to someone that he just meet. He looked back to his bag and threw his passport in it and zipped it up. He didn’t think he would need his weapons for a girl that obviously wanted to show all the way to where he was trying to get it. He had to think about it for the most part. Since he was not in a hurry to get to his destination there was no need for her to show him, however, there was a good chance that he would still get lost in the desert of the Wing Country. The last thing he needed was that and his cousin jump down his throat for the most part. ”Dorky or not, you are showing that you don’t take you job lightly and that is a good. It is not like me to be this and relax on something like this, but it might me the last time in a while that I can take my time and enjoy myself.”
”Thought we settled this? I am not a pervert. I was here first and you are the one that jumped in the water without looking around. It was not like I actually stared at you. I laid back down. Besides you are a kid and I am an adult and that is wrong on sooo many levels that it is not funny. I have at least ten years on you.” Dai sighed slightly and leaned back on his hands some on the sand. He was not by far angry with her, but he didn’t like being call a pervert since he wasn’t doing anything but sleeping in the sand. ”I suppose I can let you lead me to Sunagakure, but that is where I will depart my ways.” Dai didn’t show any signs of getting up out of the sand just yet. He was going to wait to see what Simc did when he didn’t move right away out of the sand.
