Hopefully short

Well, I just learned that next week is going to be horridly overloaded in regards to tests and stuff... I have a total of [for sure] three tests next week: Biology and Chemistry on Monday, and Math on Tuesday. I also have a presentation in Chemistry on Tuesday, and I have to have a song written and finished by the 7th so I can rehearse for the 15th. On top of that, I've got a concert on the 3rd, but since it's after my Chemistry project and it's a half day, I may pop on during that afternoon.

I'll log in briefly after schools to check some stuff and possibly review apps, and if I get the chance I'll try to get some posts up. I can't quite guarantee anything since I'm writing them up during class when I have free time [and no work to do], so it could be a bit iffy.

Most likely, though, one won't see me on the cbox at all during the evenings, but I'll try to get done what I can. The absolute longest I'll be gone is probably the end of next week, since the week after that will just be reviewing for finals and such. If I'm gone any later, however, expect around the 17th or 18th; I have the 18th off completely since I don't have a first period class, but the 21st to the 24th I have exams, and then I'm completely done for the summer. :3

A'ight, before you read on... Yeah, things have gotten much, MUCH worse.

This morning, there was a random power outage [power surge, basically, so it's not abnormal or anything] but the power was out for a good half an hour... And as a result, because my computer therefore wasn't running and my 80gb drive therefore not spinning... It chose that moment to crap out on me. It crapped out on me last night, but I managed to get it going since it was still pretty warm from running [thankfully].

I do, however, have my 250gb ready to go and I'm working on installing right now. So far 10.04 has yet to work, but if it doesn't end up working I'll most likely just install 9.10 and upgrade to 10.04 straight from there.

Sadly, I've probably lost all my files, unless I can get my 80 to fire up long enough to grab EVERYTHING or at least get most of my pictures and documents off of the old 40gb drive I'd been trying to reinstall on a few weeks ago.

So, in other words, I have almost no computer access. I may make a trip to the library and see what can be done about that, but getting onto computers there on weekends and stuff, considering Saturdays will now be basically packed because they're no longer open Sundays [they don't open Sundays after the May long, which was last weekend D:] until like... September.

If anybody ABSOLUTELY needs me, e-mail's probably the way to go for those that HAVE my email, and if all else fails [and you send me an email, too] Aya, Kashi, and Mittens have my cell number. I can't text back on my cell until I get a phone card, but incoming texts are free, so if it's a simple, "check your email" then that'll suffice.

Hopefully I can get the 250 running sometime this weekend. D:
