PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION:

Anko stands just about 167 cm tall and weighs about 46 kg. She has always been skinny for her age and size but it seemed to suit her just fine anyways. She has a few scars from her fights in the past; the most noticeable one is the one on her left knee cap that goes under her leg plating that she wears. She got it when she was with Orochimaru, though she cannot remember how she got the scar. Also on her left shoulder is her Heaven Curse Mark, given to her by Orochimaru at the same time. Her shinobi sandals are blue.

Her face is round and it supports her lavender hair that hangs in her face and over her Leaf headband around her forehead. The back of her hair is tied up and twisted upward, to having the ends of her hair flare over her head in the left direction. Her big round eyes are lavender just like her hair. She was born that way. When her tongue is out it is not a snake tongue like Orochimaru’s tongue, which is one thing that she never got from him.

Her Curse Seal of Heaven is located on her shoulder. It is made up of three flame pinwheels. It is something that she never forgets about and it usually hurts when Orochimaru is near her. She tends to hide the mark because she hates when people see how creepy she sometimes. To her the mark is a curse that will never go away.

CLOTHING DESCRIPTION:

She is never seen without her tan trench coat that she hides all her weapons in. She normally places her hands in her pockets when she has nothing better to do. The trench coat goes just a bit down pass her leg. Her plates guards start on her legs right under her knee. The coat is also useful to when she is using her Hidden Snake jutsu taught to her when she was younger.

Underneath the coat she wears a fishnet style jumpsuit that extends to her upper shoulder and just above her knees. Though underneath the laces of the suit, nothing but black could be seen. Around her waist she wears a brown cloth. It has a buckle to the right side that holds the piece around her waist, in other words it is her belt. Going from her left shoulder to her waist a blue belt is wrapped around her, it is a three piece belt in a way. Around her neck she wears a simple rope necklace. It was given to her by her mother when she was younger, which she barely takes it off.

PERSONALITY:

Relax
For the most part Anko does not take things seriously and tends to fool around a lot. She enjoys eating dango whenever she can get her hands on them. She is easy going around those she has known for longer periods of time and can come across a bit strange. She also likes to lie in the grass and read when she finds the time to do so. She does not feel like she needs to rush into anything, because of what happened to her with Orochimaru.

Tomboyish
Having grown up with her cousin, she tends to be more outgoing and more like a boy than anything. She loves to play rough even if she is not in a serious battle or anything. When she knows she is losing in a fight she would rather save energy and chakra rather than going all out, unless it is a battle that her life is on the line. The one thing she does like doing and has not found a male to do it with her is tea ceremonies.

Intelligent
Despite not having a clue for what is going on, Anko is rather serious when it comes to missions. She makes sure to know the layout of the area the mission takes part in and what she and her team mates must do to complete the mission that was assign to them. Her math skills are top notched for someone her age, she can quickly count the number of dango sticks she throws at a tree without knowing how many she had before throwing them. She does enjoy reading a book sometimes which consist of mission history of the hidden leaf and fighting skills.

Troubled
Anko has always had trouble couping with her past, especially around the time Orochimaru had his scales into her. Whenever he is brought up she feels like she was just trash than and something that he just tossed away. In a way when she was younger she thought of him has a father, until the day he tossed her away and broke her trust in human and in him. She fears hearing his name and yet when she does she gets serious and wants to track him down herself to kill.

The Sick
Whenever her chakra supply is at is low, her curse seal starts to slowly activate on its own. The changes in her body have never actually taken form but there are times that the only way for her to suppressed the seal is by stabbing herself with something sharp. Usually it is with one of her senbons in her thigh. She hates the feeling that washes over her when she wastes too much chakra. She tries to prevent wasting too much chakra.

She tends to act more like Orochimaru, to the point of licking her kunai with her tongue. She doesn't know that she does, this and she usually does before a fight has well. The sight of blood also makes her go into a trance like state; she tends to want the blood that she sees. The only way out of this is for her to be knocked out or in deep pain.

Loyalty
Some people have questioned her loyalty to Konoha. Some feel that she is just a spy like Kabuto, but she will do anything for Konoha. Since they was willing to take her back even after knowing that she was a part of Orochimaru’s sick experiment with the curse seal she feels that she owes something to the village that took back in. She knows one day she will be given the chance to repay the village for what it has done for her.

HISTORY:

Anko was born on October 24, to Mitarashi Kinako, and Chichi. Both at the time were Chuunin for the Hidden Leaf at this time. Her father Mitarashi Kinako moved to the Land of Fire when he was seven from the Land of Grass. He moved with his elderly grandparents that moved to Konoha when he was younger and became a ninja for the village. When Anko was just three years old her father was assigned to a mission that he never came back from, her mother Chichi feared for the worse and took off to look for her husband. Chichi left Anko in the care of her oldest brother. Just like her father, her mother never returned back to the village and their names are on the Shinobi Memorial since they was in war the time they went missing.

The young girl was confused to why her mother left the way she did, and was not sure if her parents were coming back. Her uncle told her stories of her parents’ mission in hope to make her feel a bit better about what her parents were trying to do for her and the village. It was when she was five and she walked past the Memorial with her cousin that she caught the Mitarashi names on the land mark. She looked up to her cousin and pointed to the names. “Nii-san...why are Mother and Father name there?” Her cousin couldn't tell her anything. He pulled her along and took her to his father and in a whisper and told him what happened that today.

That was the night that Anko found out the truth about her parents, the hard truth that they was not coming back to her. That was the day Anko decided to follow in their footprints; she wanted to be strong and protect the ones that she carried about. She spent days watching the older kids training at the training ground, even though she wasn't allowed to be there alone she always watched from a distance. She spent hours and hours watching the other children at the training grounds that she quickly learned how to throw a kunai and to fight with her hands.

A few nights before she turned six, she went to her uncle and told him that she wanted to enter the academy. At first her uncle at first was against her joining the academy because he felt like he was not protecting his sister’s child. Anko found herself begging her uncle to allow her to attend the academy she was determined to go. After a few weeks of her crying and pleading with him to allow her to go, her aunt finally sat down with him and talked him into allowing her to go. Anko knew that the only reason why she was allowed to go was because of her cousin was already at the academy and was on his second year there.

During her time at the academy, Anko scored well in, she was even promoted to the class her cousin was in when she reached seven. She was a quick learning at ninjutsu, genjutsu, and taijutsu. When matched up against someone her own age for a fighting exercise she quickly handled the person without breaking a sweat. That was when they tested her on someone that was three years older than her. She was able to keep up with the person but lost the fight as well. This was when Orochimaru for started to look for someone to train and be his lab rat, his eyes fell on Anko for her quick learning ability and able to gasp concepts she had never seen quicker than most her age.

She graduated from the academy at the age of ten and was placed on a team with Orochimaru being her sensei. Though it seemed like he spent most of his time teaching them the basic of being a shinobi, he was also taking Anko aside and teaching her how to use forbidden jutsu. The early jutsu he started to teach her happened to be his own custom snake jutsu, she quickly learned to do those which seemed to make him that much more interested in her at how fast she was able to learn these jutsu on her own after being shown them once or twice. Anko become interested in what he had to teach her, never once did she question his ways or anything. It was something that she could not bring herself to do nor find a flaw in his teaching. The more time she spent with him the more time she started to look at him like a father figure that she never had, she held the memories of him spending time with her as cherish memories.

Before her 12th birthday Orochimaru and Anko traveled to the Sea country on a mission, but it turned out he was taking her to his secret lab he had hidden there. The lab was huge to the young girl’s lavenders eyes. Little did she knew that she was about to became a part of his experiment. Just days after getting to the lab he took her into a room and performed the jutsu on her. This was where her trust in Orochimaru failed because he had hurt her, something she never thought he could do to her. He told her after performing the jutsu on her that out of the nine other children he had used it on she was the only one that lived through the ordeal of the curse seal.

During the next few weeks Orochimaru had her trying to activate the Curse seal. She had to fight him off or others creatures that he thought would make her activate the seal. Anko was always confused and scared because she did not know what Orochimaru was going to try next with her. Never did he properly feed or water her during the time nor did she sleep well when he left her alone. She always feared that he would do something while she was resting to her. During her fights with him, she started to pick up his habit of licking blood off the kunai. It was something to drink to her while fighting under something that she disparately needed. Finally one night she refused to fight to try and activate the seal; that was when Orochimaru told her that she was nothing but trash anyways and erased her memories of the experiments that were done on her. Days later ANBU from Konoha found the lab and a confused eleven year old girl.

When she was taken back to the village the Third Hokage sealed the Curse Mark that Anko wore. During the next few months she started to repress many of her memories of the she spent with Orochimaru as a coping mechanism, although she still used the kinjutsu that she learned from Orochimaru. She was assigned a new team to train under and take the Chuunin exam when she was twelve. The children in her new team were older than her by a couple of years, but that didn't stop Anko from proving that she was able to complete with them on their level.

During the third part of the exam Anko, was placed up against a Kirigakure ninja, hit a genin in the cheek with one of her senbon, the sight of blood freaked her out. She became more aggressive than she had before in the fight, coming closer to her target she quickly pinned him up against the wall using the hidden snake technique that was taught to her by Orochimaru. She took out one of her kunia and wiped the blood off the Genin's cheek. After she got the blood on the kunai she stared at it and licked it off with her tongue. This terrified the boy as he quickly forfeited the match to her. When a team of medics tried to pull Anko away from the boy, after him forfeiting the match on the fact that he wanted to live for another day, she tried to get more of his blood. When she finally claimed down and was told what happened she was shaking. She excused herself from watching the rest of the exams. This was when the Third Hokage knew that whatever Orochimaru had done to her it took a great toll on her.

Despite her display, she reached the title of Chuunin. During her time has Chuunin she lead teams in missions, trying to forget Orochimaru but every time she hears his name, it freaked her out. She felted like she was just like him and would lose control of herself and active the curse seal that she wore. At this time she withdrew herself from her uncle, aunt, and cousin, once she was able to get her own apartment at the age of sixteen she moved out.

At the age of eighteen, she took the Jounin exams failing for the first time in the exam. This confused her, mainly because before the failure she felt towards Orochimaru this was the first time she had failed in her goal to become a shinobi like her parents. It took her a few months to get over the fact that she failed.

A year later she retook it and received the rank of Tokubetsu Jonin, during this time she learned the Shadow Clone Jutsu from the Jounin Ebisu. She also started to learn more and more normal ninjutsu like the fire element that her chakra was aligned to. Though she couldn't stand to be around the pervert for long she did at lease learned some useful things from him.

A year later she was training with her cousin when he gave her the idea of combining her fire nature into her shadow clone. She started train at the training ground night and day to master the jutsu of creating the Fire Shadow Clone Jutsu. It burned her hands and body over and over again for months. One day it drained her so much for using the jutsu over and over again that she felt a sharp pain in her shoulder, she knew her curse seal was slowly started to activate on her. This was something that she had not experienced for a couple of years of training. The pain was so bad at this time that she does not remember stabbing herself in her thigh with her senbon

Every time she nearly awakens the seal she stabbed herself with a senbon to make her aware of pain instead of the curse seal. This seemed to work for her to stop the curse seal from taking over her. Now she is able to create three Fire Shadow Clones, anymore from her it forces the seal to start to burn and awaken. She usually tries not to use too many jutsu in a row to prevent the seal activating.

Hidden Shadow Snake Hands [Sen'eijashu] :: This jutsu allows the user to eject snakes from their wrist or sleeve, usually after a punching motion. The snakes are used primarily to attack from a distance and, being snakes, can inflict multiple poisonous wounds on the victim's body or hold them in place.

Summoning Technique Snake [Kuchiyose no Jutsu] :: Taught by Orochimaru when she was eleven to summon the snakes that he uses. She has yet to summon Manda.

Twin Snakes Mutual Death Technique [Sōjasōsai no Jutsu] :: This forbidden jutsu is a murder/suicide attack; killing both the user and the target. The user makes a one-handed seal with both their hand and the intended victim's. Two snakes are then summoned from the user's sleeve, biting both their wrists and killing them by deadly venom. Since Orochimaru is the creator of this technique, it seems he may hold the key to surviving this fatal attack. It is most speculated, that since Orochimaru is a snake, the venom will intentionally do no damage. Thus, able to counter attack Anko's jutsu easily with a replacement.

Snake Authority Spell [Jagei Jubaku] :: This jutsu can extend large snakes from the user's sleeves, which will coil around the target and bind them. The further addition of the user's murderous intent can weaken their target's resolve.

Many Hidden Shadow Snake Hands [Sen'ei Tajashu] :: By increasing the amount of snakes summoned with the Hidden Shadow Snake Hands, the diversity of this ninjutsu is increased. The swarm of big snakes appear in an instant, each snake individually doing something like intimidating, diverting, or capturing the enemy in a cooperative attack. Without giving them the time to react, the enemy is entangled.

Leech All Creation: Attack Prevention Technique [Hiru Banshō: Bōka no Jutsu] :: Using this jutsu, the user can merge with another object and take on its properties to avoid any damage.

Fire Release: Dragon Fire Technique [Katon: Ryūka no Jutsu] :: The user breathes fire along a cord or any other type of long object. While the technique is shown in the anime to be even larger and more devastating than Fire Release: Great Fireball Technique (and being able to melt rock), in the manga it is shown to be nothing more than a small burst of flame running along a line of wire.

Fire Release: Great Fireball Technique [Katon: Gōkakyu no Jutsu] :: After performing the necessary hand seals, a ninja inhales air via their mouth and, utilizing a large amount of fire chakra, spews a large fireball from their mouth, incinerating everything in range.

Fireball [Endan] :: Katon • Endan is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Fire Element. This jutsu allows Jiraiya to emit a jet of fire from his mouth.

False Place Technique [Kokohi no Jutsu] :: Kokohi no Jutsu is a simple Genjutsu technique which changes the appearance of a nearby object.

Sly Mind Affect Technique [Kori Shinchuu no Jutsu] :: Kori Shinchuu no Jutsu is a Genjutsu technique which causes the target to travel around in circles. If the ninja is unable to detect the illusion very quickly, they can become exhausted mentally and physically when they are unable to reach their desired target by traveling along the same path over and over.

Temporary Body Paralysis Technique [Kanashibari no Jutsu] :: Kanashibari no Jutsu is an advanced Ninjutsu technique used to temporarily bind an individual or animal. With the person frozen in place, the ninja can either take the opportunity to attack or to retreat.

Fire Release: Mist Covering Technique :: [Katon: Kasumi Endu no Jutsu ] :: After performing the necessary hand seals, the user is able to create and blow a flammable gas from their lungs. Once it comes in contact with fire or sparks, the gas ignites into a large fireball. Hand seals: Snake Ram Monkey Tiger, Rank: B. Type: Defense/ Attack.

Time Reversal Technique :: [Jigyaku no Jutsu ] :: This technique puts the target in a state of reverse hypnosis, allowing them to remember details that they otherwise would not. The target will comply with interrogation, but seems to retain his or her personality while under hypnosis.

Description: Katon Kage Bunshin no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique that utilizes fire to create a Kage Bunshin clone. Because it is a Kage Bunshin, the Katon version shares the ability to interact with the environment due to it having physical substance. This allows the clone to carry out limited attacks on its target. If the Katon Kage Bunshin is injured, the clone will revert into its natural lfire state. Like in other Fire Element attacks, should the target come into contact with the fire they will be burned.

Anko watched Aya disappeared, it was weird seeing someone of two abilities like hers, and able to somewhat control both. Her eyes turned back to Kakashi though when he mentioned something about the kids of today and not letting his guard down. This statement only seemed like he was actually tempted to use his Sharingan during the fight. "So the girl nearly forced him to use the Sharingan in the fight. Or he just wanted to without completely hurting her, either way she was pushing him. She laughed and shock her head slightly at him. "I learned that a while back Kakashi. You are just now noticing that, Mister big bad Sharingan User." She did love to tease him, even though she normally didn't get a reaction out of him for the most part.

When he changed the subject over to the Chuunin Exam and Naruto, her memories flashed back to two years ago. It sent a shiver down her back simple because when she was scaring Naruto, her old mentor was toying with her again and she didn't even notice. She bit her lip and forced her mind back to the present and looked over at Kakashi. "That knucklehead just might have a chance in the exams this time Kakashi, well depending on what that perverted teacher of his taught him...." She did have faith in Naruto, she was just has bad as he was sometimes but smart and more devilish like in ways.

Everyone was scared that she might turn against Konoha and go back to Orochimaru. The feeling she got when thinking about it made her sick to her stomach and she wanted to through up. She brought her right hand up and covered the curse seal on her shoulder, to think she would do something like that usually sent her in a state of depression. Today though, she was talking to Kakashi someone that she trusted, and looked up to in some ways, not all but some.

She looked over to Kakashi when talked about her Fire Shadow clone. She had her ways of starting the jutsu, and she had mastered it over the last few years now. She lay back on the grass and looked up at the sky. Her right arm went back to support her head, and her left arm rested against her stomach. "Maybe we will spar sometime down the line and I will show you. Then again, I don't want you stealing my jutsu with your Sharingan." She smirked slightly and looked over to him has he brought out the book of his.

She watched him and shook her head slightly. She didn't see what the point was to those books. She had read the first and two books in the series but she found having someone special around to share in that kind of experience was better than a stupid book describing it. "Between you and Jiraiya, Naruto going to have that habit also Kakashi. Why don't you get a girl and settle down with her other than readings those books?" She dismissed his comment about going down easily. It was pointless to argue with him about this. She would just lose in the long run and she didn't want deal with it.
