PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION:

She stands 5 feet and 3 inches tall, weighing 99 pounds.

Her thick, blond hair is often tied into four spiky pigtails, keeping them from obscuring her face. She has bangs on her forehead, slightly parted in the middle. Her piercing eyes appear either dark green or teal, framed with thick, dark lashes and thin eyebrows. Her face is rounded but it is given an angular edge by her small chin. Her nose is small and not as prominent, complementing the rest of her facial features.

Her body frame is curvaceous for a female her age. Though her appearance hinges on the plump side because of her rounded thighs and well-developed chest, this is made appealing by her narrow waist, giving her a somewhat hourglass figure.

CLOTHING DESCRIPTION:

She wears a light purple garment that exposes her shoulders and reaches halfway down her thighs. A prominent lining appears on the right side of her attire, possibly signifying a zipper or buttons from which it can be opened. The said garment has loose, 3/4 sleeves folded at the edges. A crimson sash is tied around her waist, with the knot and excess fabric set on the right side, accentuating her figure. She likes to wear wide-holed, dark-tinted fishnets. She covers her shoulders with them as well as her left thigh (reaching just above her knee) and her right leg (starting from below her knee to her sandals). Like most kunoichi, she wears the standard dark, ankle-enclosed, open-toed sandals. Her blue hitai-ate (head protector) is tied loosely on her neck.

PERSONALITY:

She projects confidence with herself and her skills as a kunoichi. She can be very assertive and is often blunt with her words. She can appear domineering and bossy, perhaps the effect of being the first born daughter of Suna's Yondaime Kazekage.

She is very intelligent and can analyze her enemy's movements quickly before making her own move. She dislikes losing but winning by default does not appeal to her either. She can be very competitive and does not hold back in dealing with enemies or those who challenge her -- even to the point of killing them without remorse. In spite of her tendencies to be violent, she has a caring nature and is a pacifist. Her caring nature is not too apparent, however, because she tends to use direct words to show comfort instead of being sympathetic. She cares for her brothers even if she fears her youngest brother the most. Like any girl her age, she is not immune to developing crushes.

HISTORY:

Her mother died when she was three, leaving her to the care of her uncle Yashamaru and her father, the Kazekage. She seems to have lived with her relatives or possibly servants but it seemed that she interacted a lot more with Kankurou than with Gaara (perhaps out of fear or out of obedience for the elders). Little is known about how she was brought up. She might have gone to a ninja academy like most kunoichi and might have received her tessenjutsu training when she was very young. After she graduated from the Academy when she was 12 years old, she was assigned to team up with her brothers and Baki. She had to wait a year to try for the Chuunin Exams so that her brothers can join her.

::JUTSU AND WEAPONS::

WEAPONS:

A giant fan that is almost as tall as her own height when folded. The inside (possibly made of thick fabric) is white-colored with three purple dots while the handles are black and made of iron. She uses this for her tessenjutsu attacks, from hurling slicing winds to gliding on the air. She also carries with her the standard weapons: shuriken, kunai and exploding tags.

JUTSU:

Kamaitachi no Jutsu [Sickle Weasel Technique]
When using this jutsu, Temari conjures the handseals in her mind as she whips her large iron fan to produce a strong, tornado-like gale that surrounds her opponent. The whirl of air currents trap the opponent inside its vortex, forcing him or her to endure the slicing winds within the vacuum. These slicing winds will repeatedly slash the opponent's skin and flesh until the collision of air currents cease to bounce off each other. (C-ranked offensive jutsu. Works within 0 to 10 meters.)

Daikamaitachi no Jutsu [Great Sickle Weasel Technique]
This is a stronger version of Kamaitachi no Jutsu. This time, the gale of colliding air currents is wider and powerful enough to rip trees or whatever obstacles close to the target. It can defend against physical attack and sound waves. The range is also wider. (B-ranked offensive/defensive jutsu. Works in all ranges.)

Kuchiyose no Jutsu: Kirikiri Mai [Summoning Technique: Quick Beheading Dance]
Like most summoning techniques, this requires the use of blood in exchange for the summon. Temari bites her thumb to summon Kamatari, a weasel-like creature with a sickle, and smears the blood on her large fan before sweeping her large fan before her and saying the summon out loud. Kamatari appears, ready to cut everything on its path. Then it disappears completely from the naked eye as it executes the destruction. It is strong enough to decimate an entire forest. (B-ranked offensive jutsu. Works in all ranges.)

Kawarimi no Jutsu [Replacement/substitution Technique]
A basic technique known to most ninjas. This involves the replacement of the body with the object nearest to it. The exchange is done in a swift fashion, giving the optical illusion of "disappearance."

Bunshin no Jutsu [Clone Technique]
Another basic technique. This requires the ram, boar, ox, dog and snake handseals. In this jutsu, a "copy" of the user is made, enabling a decoy to confuse thhe enemy or lure him away from where the real body is located.

Henge [Transformation Technique]
This allows the user to change appearances for a limited amount of time, copying the physical appearance of anyone as long as the image is clearly conjured in that person's mind.
