Hanabi was hiding behind a tree looking to the left then to the right. There wasn't anyone about so she hesitantly walked over to the swings and sat down and scanned the area again. Still no one seemed to be about just now. Not taking her pale eyes off the stairs from which people were most likely to enter the playground, she began to swing slowly back and forth. She didn't whoop for joy as she had heard other children do earlier in the day but a small guarded smile graced her face as she once again reach the top of the arc and had for a brief instant the stomach turning feeling of falling dominated her entire being. She was a Hyuuga after all and she had to think of the family more often now a days. Hanabi was sitting in public at the moment and so was most reserved. Every so often stopping to scan the area she was thoroughly enjoying herself to her hearts content.
In truth she was waiting for some one, her sister whom she had sent a covert note to that morning at dawn after her morning training but before first lessons. She liked to be up a half an hour before dawn to get in her daily exercise just some stretching and the like. Hanabi actually enjoyed the light work out and it made her father happy besides. She had hastily but neatly composed the note in her room while she was dressing for the day. It had taken a good deal to actually get it to her sister without being seen by the family.
It was late in the evening and she had crept out of the family compound to get here.She hope no one notice she was gone but she was seven and the caged birds tended to keep a fairly close watch on the coming and goings for some reason, she had never thought to ask what that was. They might know that she had left and sent some one to keep an eye on her, but so far she hadn't seen anyone yet.
(Note: the actual content of the note can be your choosing whammy(( i kinda want this thread to be a surprise so i have not much planned save that it would be nice to have both Hinata and Neji in here.)

~~~Hinata Hyuuga~~~ ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Earlier in the day, during a break from training, Hinata had returned to her room only to find a note hidden in it. Opening, Hinata found that the note was from Hanabi, and she seemed rather concerned in it. In fact, it worried Hinata just reading the note.
Ane-ue (Respected Older Sister), Please meet me in the playground after every one has gone to bed. Make sure those still up don't ask you anything or get suspicious. It is very important that we speak in a place where Father can't hear us. I'm counting on you to do this; sneak out if you have to. I'll be waiting for you and will explain when i see you. We have one shot at this, Sister please don't mess it up. They won’t let me out again without an escort if we get caught so be as careful as you can.
Its almost time for lessons so i must cut this short.
Just remember that I love you no matter what.
Hanabi
Whatever it was that was going on, it seemed to worry Hanabi greatly about it. Being the older sister, Hinata of course was going to follow the directions and meet up with Hanabi during the night. Throughout the rest of the day, of course, Hinata was extremely worried about the contents of the note. What exactly was it that Hanabi was worried about? Why didn’t she want Father to hear about it? And what did she mean by only having “one shot at this?” This distraction, of course, made her a failure at practice, and the trainer gave up early for the day.
By the time night had arrived, Hinata was ready to go. Sneaking out wasn’t too hard for her; as heir she had a lot of free roaming space. That, or since everyone say her as a failure they didn’t simply care what she did. Either way, heading outside wasn’t hard at all. It didn’t take long for Hinata to locate Hanabi at the spot that she mentioned. Approaching her younger sister, Hinata handed the note back over before starting to speak.
”Hanabi-chan, please, what exactly is wrong? You sounded rather worried in your note and it’s been bothering me all day….” ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- ~~~The Heiress of the Hyuuga Clan ~~~
When she saw her sister approaching Hanabi took one last swing and then leapt off while in mid air. She turned a summersault in the air and landed with soft thump. Hanabi race over to where she was standing. "Sister, please not so loud encase someone will hear you!” Hanabi hissed quietly keeping her head tilted down and her hair obscuring her face. "May I ask hypothetical question of you Ane-ue?" She stood staring up at Hinata with love in her and a quiet smile gracing her features her bearing was neutral easy as though there was nothing strange in their meeting in a deserted area such as the playground.
“What would you do if I was chosen to lead the family over you? You know as well as I that the political climate of our family is not the best in the world at present. Right now seems in favor of me but that could change in a half heartbeat. One slip up and I am completely out of the running and I want to lead this Family. I propose a political Alliance between the two of us to stand together no matter what fate or father through in our way.” She spoke in a rushed voice as her eyes darted around scanning the trees. “And please don’t just agree think about it first and debate with me. Alternatively, add you own conditions if you feel you want to, in fact I would recommend it.” She really did want Hinata to think about her response and challenge on it if she did not think it sound. She did not think her older sister had much of a backbone though more likely to just agree to things then not. Hanabi had called her out here to get her opinions of the plan as she saw it. It was win-win as far as politics came into play in her mind, if she prevailed over Hinata then she could make use of her older sister experience and if by off chance she lost the up hill battle Hinata would need her suppose to lead effectively. “What are your thoughts Ane-ue?”
~~~Hinata Hyuuga~~~ ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hinata watched as Hanabi jumped off and landed on the ground. She always seemed to be the more acrobatic between them; just another reason why her father thought her to be the better heir to the clan. Not that Hinata held any jealousy or anger towards her sister; it wasn’t her fault their father thought that way after all. No, Hanabi was just caught up between the politics of the clan. Her father would probably think that this attitude was weakness, but Hinata really couldn’t bring herself to hate her sister for any reason like that. Even if Hanabi became the head of the clan, Hinata would still love her as her sister.
Hanabi was wanting to ask her a question about something, and Hinata simply nodded. Whatever it was had to be something important for them to meet here; it was odd considering how calm Hanabi seemed to be about the entire thing. Ironically enough, Hanabi’s concern was about what would happen if she was to either win or lose the contest for the head of the clan. But proposing an alliance? This wasn’t some kind of game or war; they were sisters. Hinata didn’t think there needed to be some kind of “alliance” between them. This was way too formal for what Hinata was thinking this might be; she was relieved that this was the only issue.
Of course, Hanabi wanted to know what her thoughts were on the situation, and Hinata had to respond honestly about it.
”Truthfully, I-I don’t think there is any need for an alliance. We both agree the system needs reforming, and we both don’t like it. We’ve already seen what has happened to Neji. Plus, we’re sisters; there’s no need for anything this formal. I had already assumed that we would support one another no matter what happened to us through it all.”
After saying her piece on it, Hinata realized that Hanabi would still probably want some kind of answer to it. If she was wanting a formalized political alliance, then Hinata was more than willing to formalize it even if she didn’t think there was a need for it in the first place.
”But if you really want to have it formalized, I’m willing to offer my support for you no matter what happens…” ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- ~~~The Heiress of the Hyuuga Clan ~~~

Hanabi hugged her sister, her arms encircling her sisters waist, She was pleased beyond measure by her sister support. "As I will always you support you. If it comes down to it we stand together.” It was a rare display indeed, Hanabi hugging anyone in public but the situation called for it. "I don't think it will be so easy to change the clan’s ways. The caged birds likely hate the fact that they are caged, Neji is a prime example of this, and he does not like us sister you know he does not. I do not know why but he just does not. " Hanabi frowned and pondered her response for the moment. This would be very important for the both of them to understand they both had qualities the other lacked. They could make an excellent partnership no matter which came out on top in the end.” we cannot free them and expect them not to turn on those who force them into this. As far as I know, there is no way to remove the curse once it is placed, though perhaps Father does know a way. If he does then that knowledge will eventually be mine or perhaps yours if our fortunes change again.” She thought back to some of her clan history lessons. The history was interesting and useful she would know what had been tried before.
"The curse was I believe originally devised as a protection and insurance policy so that if one of our family is captured then our secrets can't be known. Part of our skill is in the fact that we are unique you know. If rivals caught one of us, they could potentially create a countermeasure, which cannot be allowed. And so the curse remains.” She was already at the age of seven making plans for the changing of this system. If she could manage it she would attempt to find out the actual workings of the seal and perhaps a counter measure to it or a way to make the true safety measure it ought to be and not a mark of shame or scorn as it was now. "Sister, there was another reason why I called you out of ear shot of our Father..."
